I've just watched it last night and its one of the best movie I've ever seen. Technically real masterpiece. Its first time I watch animated movie without knowing its animated. When my girlfriend told me it isn't real I had to check few times until I finally believe. Very good movie 10/10

Damn cool movie, stunning visuals and storytelling good enough to keep me fully focused all through the endless war scenes. Historical accuracy is a non-issue, I actually enjoyed the mythical feel of the battles (Age of Mythology popped up more than a few times on my head).

Coolest part, however, was waching it for free - the folks at Uni won a promotion by recruting 300 people via e-mail, and thus we won a private session .

I disliked Troy, i hated KoH and i've not seen 300... oh dear :P

I am with Hakeem, i don't see anything wrong with those movies. Kindom of Heaven was the worst of the bunch, but all of them very still amazing, including the Gladiator.

You havent seen Alexander then, I had forgotten to mention that one, that was even more awful than the other films I mentioned.

Oh, i saw Alexander. And I loved it up to the moment when they left Babylon, after that it was pretty boring indeed.



Maybe I like this movies a lot because I like ancient history a lot, I don't know, but 300 is without a doubt one of the best action movies of the year. Only maybe Departed beats it

Oh, I love the ancient history too, I study Latin and Greek, so I know the background behind the stories too, but still the movies were awful in my opinion. Maybe because of my knowledge i dont really like them. Troy had so many historical incorrect events (well, not historical incorrect, as the story of Troy isnt necessarily even a true one) The way Troy dealt with Aeneas was just plain stupid.

I'm just waiting for someone to make a film about Ulysses, or Odysseus, if we're gonna be proper.

They already had a movie called The Odyssey a few years back, you must have missed it. It was decent i thought, but i was like 10 at the time and don't remember it very well.

Probably because i believe it was a big series. Definietly not hollywood type action movie production. I can't quite remember, the man in the iron mask movie tames my memory of everything else i seen around that time.
