FIP14 v8 Facepack

Hi all,

I announced a few days ago that I would release a mega face pack to coincide with the release of FIP14 v8. Reading through the forum, and gathering content this weekend I can see that over the past few months, there have been some ownership disputes, some face makers have been banned and some people who convert faces have not asked permission or given credit to the original creators.

I want to be very clear about something. I try not to release anything without getting permission or giving credit. It happens sometimes by mistake, but generally, things don't get released if I don't know who did the original work. A person who converts a face is a major asset to the community, but the person who made the original file is the most important. Without this original content, the converters have no content to convert. Some of the way this community treats the original creators is disgusting. I've experienced this myself. Don't get me wrong I have been over the top and unreasonable when trying to protect my work previously. None of us are perfect but a serious amount of effort and time goes into some of the smallest details in modding.

The problem with that last sentence is none of you care. The poor attitude of this community is killing it. Not the pay links. Not the modders who are asking for money for their mods. Not those who don't want their work converted. It's the community that is the problem.

This community is full of useless people who offer nothing, demand everything, and then get angry and disrespect the original creators when they finally snap.

As a result, unless I am given consent publicly on this thread by any facemakers who are happy for me to convert their faces from any version of EA football game I will not include any new faces in v8.

Partly. It is important to stick up for the original creators. All I suggest is to calm down a little because you're not in the wrong, but when people only see you insulting people and not being specific about what has been used the court of public opinion will turn against you real quick.

Btw. if you are interested in any face I made before, even if the links for this years are currently down, if you are ok with my terms and you can see them pretty much everywhere now, I have no issue if you convert them to FIFA 14 or use my faces converted by Skoczek, if he is ok with it, and it looks like he is.

Hi! Most of the faces that I upload to my FIFA 16 thread are conversions from pes or eFootball if you are interested in converting them to FIFA 14. Go ahead! Take the ones you need and the ones you consider appropriate to use.
