I thought that Hope Is Important was crap until I listened to it a bit more. It's kinda different and not so catchy but still a really good album. I've always thought that Idlewild should make albums with a mix of music rather then have one theme. They're much better at the whole scream indie rock thing (they don't completely scream and it was only in the beginning music on some songs) then some of the newer bands that've come out in America.

How the hell does Keane's album go to number one but none of their singles from it except for Is It Any Wonder which went to 3rd, not go even in the top ten. I could understand that happening on the US charts but I don't get how they don't do better on the UK charts in terms of singles.

I got two new albums from this pretty good German band- Juli. Their lead singer's cute and she has a pretty nice voice too. Good to see them singing in German now instead of feeling pressured into singing in English.
