I do not know much about those countries today, but South Africa seems more suitable because it has recent WC participation (which Egypt lacks) ans owns size and (I suppose) infrastructure which Tunisia lacks. The distance to the rest of football world could be a problem; but Argentina or Japan/Korea, for instance, were also far from Europe.

One thing that intrigued me is that Morroco already made a bid to WC 1994 (ten years ago) and I think that it had recieved respecteable voting. Do anyone knows the context which brought to that curious (at least for me) result?

FIFA should stop choosing the countries to host the way that they do nowadays (pick a bunch of countries from one continent), they should just do it the old way and chose two countries from the americas one from asia two from europe one from africa, I'm not saying thats exactly how they did it but I mean they should do something like that and they should stop picking countries only from one continent.

Egypt hosted soccer world cup under 17 in 1997 & hand ball world cup & going 2 host cup of african nations in 2006...

Yeah they were both from Egypt but then moved to England. England is where i was born but you could say i am PART egyptian
