KONAMI SAYS THAT THEY GOING TO MAKE PES 6 FOR XBOX 360 NOT PS3 SO WE WILL HAVE PES 6 (NEXT-GEN) THIS YEAR

XBOX 360 OWNER

Bud, I'd love to believe you as I have an XBox 360 too but they won't make a special 360 next-gen version. Any 360 next-gen version will be a port of a PS3 version so we'll have to wait until 2007. If they bring out anything for the 360 before that it will be a port of the PS2 version. Look at the PC versions they bring out, straight ports of the PS2 version with the same crowd bug and everything else.

Konami base everything upon the PS2 version and until a PS3 version comes out, we can't expect anything on the 360 remotely next-gen quality.

But MS was the first with a next-gen console. Seabass said that they will release PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 360 for the 360. I think it'll become a launchtitle for the PS3 as well. So I've got good confidence in an october/november 2006 release.

This is an old news, but should be close to truth:
Pro evo 360

Format: Xbox 360
Release Date: 01 Dec 2006
Developer: KCE Tokyo
Publisher: Konami
Players: Online
PEGI Rating: 3 +
SOURCE

But in November 2006 should also be out worldwide the Playstation 3...
so will PS3 version of WE/PES be the Master Copy and other releases just clones?
a ring.. to rule them all...

..or it will follow the XBox360 version? :jap:

At least this should ensure the true next-generation offering that Pro Evo deserves, so we’re hoping for a level of visual quality to match the pre-rendered introductions of previous titles and the trademark depth of gameplay to boot.

That seems to suggest it will be a true next-gen version. I hope this is true.

Might as well update this for ya a bit early ;)

Brasil (5) + Argentina (2) + Uruguay (2) = 9 South American World Cups

Germany (3) + Italy (3) + England (2) + France (1) = 9 European World Cups

Somehow I think it makes sense to release WE10 in April.

They will have, what, 6 months before the PS3 hits japan, usa and europe.

They will sell 2 million and then release a PS3 version of WE10, an "next-gen" version and sell another 2 million.

It makes sense!!

Yeah, which translates to a March/April 2007 release for us here in North America. We still can't even play WE9 on the XBox 360 because it isn't backwards compatable. Konami don't give a flying crap about the North American market which is why the PC version of WE9 isn't coming out here until two weeks before WE10 is released. Obviously they want people to pirate the games because they sure as crap don't want us to buy them! The timeline slips more and more each year to the point where we're almost a year behind the rest of the world as it is! Who wants to play a year old version with year old rosters?

ok this all great, but......when is it coming out here in the US? July? September? If this year it was launched in Asia in August and here a month ago, what about this year?

Like I said, we won't see it in the US on any platform until Spring 2007 as they've only just released WE9 (and not for the PC yet)! WE11 will probably be out by the time we get WE10, the release date here slips back further and further every year - normally 13 months after the previous version.

ok, hold this for a sec.
both sides got right/wrong.

First of all, its true that many countries, or country leagues(for eg Spain) is feed every year with S.A kids, who are not properly paid in our leagues, so they emigrate in order to get better contracts. This does not contradict the fact that most of these times, the SA guys we are talking about are only Argentinian or Brazilians, but i doubt how much an european player could prove playing in such competitive leagues as S.A are. Happens that many of you dont have even the chance to enjoy watching it.

Also i have to disagree on the fact that because of the WC history, PES needs to have a SA version, personally i think that a thought of that knid is really lame, since Konami does not sell PES to fans of the WC winners country, but to people who buys ther games. In argentina and most S.A, 8 of 10 copies of PES are copies illegally sold. It does not make much sense to sell here...

Now im going to refer to useless commentaries i`ve seen here before.

"I don't even know any clubs from S.A because nobody really cares about them."
hahaha, joking me right?? see teams like Real Madrid, how many SA players do they have in their squads, how did they finish there¿ maybe for the mediocre eyes like yours, you think that it doesnt make sense to watch S.A...., I bet if all the players played in their country leagues you`d be begging to catch Boca Juniors, or Flamengo.

"why the heck would I wanna write or speak Spanish when English is the #1 language in the world"
so?? its not that easy to learn another language. You should try spanish, and see how hard it gets.

"noob"
come on, do i have to say to you: shut up newbie? no, you have the same right to post your opinion, so imo to been registered since quite long time does not give me any right to desrespect or dismiss your opinion.

Nothing else, back to the topic

i'm really hoping sometime during the 360/ps3/rev era that they are just going to make ONE solid pes/we game and release it world wide... i doubt this will happen... but all i have to say is, if the fifa series picks up in there gameplay area dramatically, winning eleven here in n\a will be non existent

Ramiro hit the nail right on the head. Think about it. Robinho ended up in RM which means the RM head honchos had to have been watching his league games in Brazil. Yup, the S.A. leagues do matter.

Let's get back on topic.

I think Konami's marketing plan is going to take sales away from themselves. It makes no sense to make different versions of the same game. Oh well. I hope they just focus on one series.

Honestly, I'm furious over the fact that winning eleven 10 is coming out only 3 months after we9 came out in the US. I left the fifa series because of the crap gameplay but now i cant help but be completely annoyed by konami and how they release different games in different areas. I hear about how 10 will have a world cup qualification mode, when we9 in the usa doesnt even have all the world cup teams. Come on, this is absolutely rediculous especially in a world cup year. I cant believe im thinkin about this but i might even just get fifa world cup out of just being pissed off at konami. I'm so furious i cant even type. This sucks that because i live in the usa that im giong to be stuck with a copy of WE that is flawed in many ways and has no international modes in the year of a world cup. Konami if u can hear this can u please just release one game before the world cup and keep to a uniform release date from now on so that i can have the best football game at all times and not one that after 3 months of use is considered old in terms of gameplay and modes when compared to the newly released we10 in april. IF any is playing in the usa there has to be some1 on this board that agrees with me.

I agree with you bud! We won't even have WE9 on the PC until a couple of weeks before WE10 is released. You can rest assured that any World Cup mode will be taken out by the time the game is released here in the US because the World Cup will have ended 9 months previous by the release date!!!

Konami don't give a flying f*** about the North American market period. Like it would really hurt them to release the game on a more timely basis. I agree with you regarding FIFA, at least EA give a crap about releasing the same version worldwide at the same time so everybody gets the same product. Until Konami release something here which isn't almost a year old I won't be buying any more of the series. Sure, I'll play them but there won't be any exchange of money to do so until they stop treating us like crap.

Let's be honest, there's no guarantee Europe will get PES6 before Aug/Sep so the World Cup mode for them might not exist just like the Nippon mode in WE9. IF EA ever do pull their fingers out and get a game as close to Konami gameplay as possible, nobody will touch the WE/PES series ever again.
