If this is true maybe Konami want to keep themselves covered from the PS3 postponed date of launch to end of year 2006...

in this case they have ready "something" for PS2 platform for Japanese market til PS3 won't be out.

I guess ProEvo 360 will be for Xbox360 and then converted for PC and PS3...

Konami suck... 2000 different games one the patch of the last one and for 3 different continents.. :crazyboy:

pity we have no alternative.. to Konami.

EA should just buy out konami's PES and WE series and put in official licenses and kits, ONCE A YEAR !!

Whole planet would be happy.

Dude, what do you mean fake? Play-Asia are one of the biggest gaming websites on the planet! If you mean, they could be wrong then that's a different matter but fake?

Actually, the series used to come out in Japan around early Spring in the ealrlier versions so they may just be returning to that timetable. Sucks in terms of rosters for the Western world as we won't ever have anything resembling accurate rosters by the time the versions come out here! In the USA, it means we'll now be almost a full year behind with releases rather than the 6 months we were before and that does suck!

hey i would expect something like that for sure. but it may not happen.

right before the world cup, they KNOW the game will be selling like hot buns. so they may be just lookin for a quick cashin and realease we9 in a new cover.

but hopefully not. the GO FOR WC mode in we9 jap was great. they could build off of that and have a great mode.

i don't know about any superpatch, but i agree with you. like most everyone else on the forum i'd like to see more national teams but not at the expense of the gameplay's depth.

but what i'd really like to see is more "style". what about lower-tier teams that start playing "route 1" football out of frustration? or a dutch team that can turn on the clockwork oranj when it needs to? that kind of thing.
