I don't have any contempt for your team either. (if they weren't playing Holland, I think I actually would've rooted for them mostly because I guided them to the semi's of WC 2010 in FM 2006, but that's something totally diffrent.)

I doubt it'll be as easy as 2004, i'm actually pretty impressed with the durch defense and we always have problems against teams with a strong counter attack. On the other Hand I have a feeling we'll see our best Performace of the WC...

wow, you guys are optimistic. I expect a typical frustrating as hell performance from Portugal combined with bad goalkeeping and wasted chances. This Holland won't open up like they used to, especially when attacking. Free Kicks and corners will probably be our best opportunities..

rooney, who is their only dangerous striker is at 60% at best and their midfield is pretty static...

I'd say Rooney played at 90% this last game against Sweden... he scared me a bit, he's recovering fast, and... god damn it, the guy is unstoppable at times...

As for the midfield, England have some classy players there, i wouldn't say they're static, they're just underperforming (except for Beckham, of course)... but the team form raises, as the Tournament proceeds! What i respect the most in this England team, are the Wingers...

it's hard to predict this one. Portugal has a great record against The Netherlands, but history means nothing inside the pitch. there the best team in that moment wins. i can just hope to Portugal, 1-0 is enough

Yes, but if Holland neutralise his threat then where is the creativity for Portugal? Figo would probably collapse if he walked fast, C. Ronaldo is too greedy, Simao is hot and cold and most of the others aren't really World Class. Having said that, if Portugal neutralised Robben then they're in the same boat really.

I'd take any. England can beat them both.
