I kept raising his asking price cause I kept getting spammed with offers. Finally I upped his price to 7.5 million and teams began withdrawing their bids. After that happened he asked for an improved contract, which I denied. He's a fringe player anyway.

Ironically I granted his transfer request after like the third time he asked for it and maybe three weeks later he decided he wants to stay. Worse than a woman.

By the way, I've been getting a lot of transfer requests. Mostly good players not playing and the odd old player that thinks he should get minutes from past merits. I'm basically ignoring all that and ruling with an iron fist. We'll see how far that takes us.

How did Konan do on his loan?

I've no clue, I honestly didn't check as there were a lot of players coming off loans. I'll check when I get on the game.

You can offer the contract with whatever high conditions. Then withdraw it, and the player doesn't get upset. It's like a little glitch.

And post a screenie of this "Desenge". Not sure why I can't remember him.

I think I checked on Konan's loan from time to time, as far as I remember he did mediocre. I think he had under a 7 rating and didn't score many goals.

Anyway, this team fucking sucks. It's infuriating to have so much possession and do so little with it. I went back to 4-2-3-1, and it helped for a few games, but now I've dropped two games in a row, crashed out of the DFB Pokal after dominating all game and losing in extra time... ugh.

I've been holding off from playing this since I haven't had the motivation, but decided to give it another go tonight.

I picked up after the 15th game, and have had some pretty crappy results.

I sold some players, and since we're in the red I didn't sign any players. I don't think we'll miss any of them anyway.



Next game I have to play Dortmund which are atop of the table. I'm expecting to get my ass handed to me...

But instead the team plays really well and had control of the match pretty much the entire game.


I'm feeling confident going to the next game, so I keep the same formation/players, but I make them play more aggressively since it's against relegation zone Union Berlin

A gaffe from the keeper later I am on the losing end of yet another winnable game.


Despite the terribly inconsistent play, I apparently drew interest from another team that sacked their manager during the winter break.

Of course, I respectfully declined, but feels nice to be wanted in tough times...

And yeah, selling Baby and Ventzios are probably good decisions. I was going to sell Ventzios but ended up using him as a back-up. At least a profit was made on Baby...

Playing much better with Park back from injury. He even scored on his first game back after missing over two months.

Yeah I know, but it's crazy how shitty the team plays without him. We suffered that game he was out. Anyway, team is playing a lot better.


Basically my only change is that I switch off from 4-4-2 to the 4-2-2-2 with DMs depending on the competition and formation. So far it has worked out well. Also Park being back has given the team a big boost. Hoping to keep it going. Neilton has had back to back hat tricks with Park back, too. Yeah!!!

Big game versus Bayern. This will test if the team is really improving or just taking advantage of weaker sides. Dun dun dun!

Ladies and gentlemen, we are officially out of the slump!


As you can see it wasn't without a sacrifice, but luckily Park is only injured for two weeks tops. Big sigh of relief.

He was a pretty constant contributor until he got hurt (he's out for 3 months unfortunately). His free kicks are always dangerous and has consistently won out minutes from seemingly better players statistically, but he seems to own that left side.


Anyway, I stopped before the big game. We play Werder Bremen who are currently 5th and we are 6th. They have a few points on us, so this is a very important game if we are to get any European play. Oddly enough the whole Bundesliga is a total clusterfuck aside from Dortmund who are comfortably on top. I can't recall right now but from 10th place to 3rd place there's maybe a 10 point difference at most. A lot is still up for grabs and the team is peaking at the right time.

Edit2: Also, Hahn is playing out of his mind. I was trying to phase him out and introduce this younger, faster and much better statistically Dutch player, but he keeps scoring high especially in the more important games. We're gonna miss that leadership when he inevitably can't keep up the form.

Yeah Hahn did that to me too! He must have phenomenal hidden mental stats.

And good to hear you've been doing better.

I think that Dutch player you're referring to can also play DM and MC so he has a chance there.

How's Ewerthon doing?

He grades out well, and for the most part is a good defender. But he's a mental midget at times. Several times he erroneously gives away possession or gets beat and Hahn has to cover his ass, which is ironic given that Ewerton is faster, younger and supposedly better than him. At some points of frustration I have benched him for Geerts (the Dutch-Swiss Army knife), and he performed well enough to bench him for good. But I ended up needing Geerts in the midfield due to injuries, so Ewerton got his spot back.

Ewerthon is really good IMO, if he's played to his abilities. Maybe decrease his creative freedom or passing range. I know sometimes you can't help their decision making though.

That's a good idea, I'll probably end up lowering his passing range and give him little to no freedom. Other than that he is a good defender.

Picking up where I left off... big game versus Bremen at Bremen. After a rather uneventful half where the team was having little to no possession and and no clear chances, and them clogging up the middle I decided to spread the team up. Ordered to attack the wings and try to penetrate from there. It was successful. We had more possession and out of more possession we were able to score.

Unfortunately few minutes later, Bremen tied it on a corner. I decided to go a little conservative, but changed my mind since a point would do us no good. I brought in Konan and Geerts. Then this happens:
