as spanish i cant understand what the **** is vicente del Bosque doing with Fernando Llorente... cant underst why he prefers negredo, who hasn't done anything this season, before llorente...

Portugal can put the defense as advanced as they want because has Pepe, the best CB running back, wouldn't make sense play Pedro or Torres because Pepe would eat them. This game needed a gladiator CF who can fix the CBs and separate the rival, remember World Cup match how changed the game when Llorente comes in, Negredo starting means that Llorente end up the season exhausted. Spain had bad time against Italy when they put Spain in their own half.

Well, Pedro wasn't ever going to be playing the lone striker, in my ideal world Busquets is the lone DM, Iniesta drops back, Pedro and Silva hit the wings with Lorente central.

Pretty good by Portugal I think. Teams have been about even. Spain have had a lot of good breaks, but they seem to turn to nothing by the time they get to the box.

Half time........ cracking match so far, Portugal have had the better of the first half but you get the feeling at any time an oh so simple move could open things up for Spain........ very hard to call........ superb for the neutral though
