If he gets it, he deserves it. I remember saying he would look alright at Milan alongside Kaka and Sheva. No way now, he's showing what he's made of. You dont spit on another human being, that's just wrong.

Totti is a world class player, but ive always known he was an a bit of an arrogant cocky guy, so this incident doesnt make me think that much less of him. Fact is, he's Italy's best player, and this just messes everything up. Hopefully its a 2 match ban at the most. :(

I,for one, highly doubt Totti would do such a thing unprovoked, he may be arrogant, he may cheat, dive, bribe, dive, and he may be arrogant, but a player of such caliber wouldnt spit in someones face just because. And to do it a number of times during a match, well, the Danish guy must of said something pretty bad. I think everyone here wants to believe what they want. Anyway, spitting at someone is just wrong so he should get something, but they should also look at what the danish guy said or did.

After closely analizing the picture, here's my analysis:

It looks like the Danish player is spitting. Look at Totti's mouth, he looks like he's taking that sh*t in. Maybe they were just exchanging fluids. (H)

Maybe it's a lolipop or smoke.

I think that's a digital spit (anyone watched the Chapelle's Show with digital piss?) :mrpimp:

BUT SERIOUSLY, looks like the Danish player was talkin sh*t to Totti. Look at his body language, lol.

Man...he's lucky he didn't he get leg broken or something.

I'd have beat his ass if he did that to me.

If you really watched the video, well is clear enough that Totti spit on the other player, not like you guys are trying to analize

I wouldnt want him to come anymore, but I can use a diet (H)

Btw, if he was sent home.. Italy get to call another player?

Let it be Gilardino or Inzaghi.. I'd be happy with either :hump:

But Trap will call up Pancaro..

Such a talented player. And he does this :|.

I don't want this guy at Madrid anymore, not if he is gonna do this.

You see him and Zidane and it shows why Zidane is the classiest player on earth.

dude, Zidane has a temper! When he gets mad, he makes very aggressive tackle and throws elbows Gordie Howe and Dennis Rodman would be proud of :D

Yes, but they're (so-called) professionals.......it's not like this was their very first game, and they've never tried different socks/boots/whatever...

The heat changes they way materials react with the skin. Im an athletic trainer so I deal with this stuff often. :p

And I saw the new Puma stuff Italy is wearing....very hot and uncomfortable looking. Shinny and I dont think it breathes very well. Dumb idea for a summer tournament in Portugal.

totti has just received a 3 match ban so wont feature until the semi finals, if they make it that far.

quite right, fúckin mink :kader:

Uefa have dished out a three-match ban to Francesco Totti after the Italy idol was caught on camera spitting at Denmark's Christian Poulsen.

Although the Roma star may appeal, such a suspension would rule him out until the semi-final, providing the Azzurri manage to get that far.

The authorities had initially looked at slapping a four-match ban on the player but the disciplinary committee amended their original plan.

"I'm really sad for what happened and I publicly apologise," said Totti.

"I don't see myself in this video.

"I'd like you to know the true Francesco Totti is another person."

Official confirmation has yet to be received, but it seems as though Uefa are willing to dish out a heavy punishment for the offence.

Totti's lawyers claimed in defence that it was very much out of character for the forward and that the spittle did not actually hit Poulsen.
