Bullcrap. Just saw him being interviewed by a Danish reporter, and he considered Totti's actions very arrogant.....I hope he's fined for MORE than one game, especially since he got away with that tackle on Henriksen as well.

From the link Vagegast posted:

- Panucci too was struggling with his feet, with his socks being the problem.

"I had blisters at the end of the game on my heels," he said. "The thread that these socks were made with is too rough."

WTF?! :|

Like anyone gets out of any game at this level without bruises/scars/blisters etc.........dumbass...:|

EDIT/P.S.: Nice line at the bottom of you sig Vage, you taking Danish courses? (H)

According to danish newspaper, Ekstrabladet, Poulsen considered revenge on Totti on the field, because he felt humiliated. He explained he didn´t retaliate because he was afraid of getting the red card.

Danish coach, Olsen, stated that, Totti should be punished by UEFA even though he is a starplayer, and that he (Olsen) never would refer to Totti as a starplayer again because of his actions on the field.

2 or 3 gameban would be fair IMO.

But the real deal is the butchering of Henriksen that the referee saw, but only thought was worth a yellow card ... seriously bad refereeing - Totti should get a 4-5 gameban for that one IMO.... but he won´t since the referee already decided that it was a yellow card ...

Totti: "The thread that these socks were made with is too rough" ... HAHAHAHAHAHA what a whimp

k totti didnt say that it affected his game, he merely commented on the fact that his boots gave him blisters in 30 mins, its just the way reporters say it, i consider most of you foolish for buying into so much

but when all is said and done he deserves a ban for the spitting incident, i dont know what to think right now

Blisters are due to improper boots or socks. If the sock is too rough or slippery, it can cause blisters. We all know how painfull they are even if it is a minor injury.

Yes, but they're (so-called) professionals.......it's not like this was their very first game, and they've never tried different socks/boots/whatever...

seriously, f uck the kids, damn them all to hell....it's always about those lousy, little critters whenever something controversial happens....I can't stand that cliche....f uck protecting them and setting examples for them....kids annoy a lot....infact, there's one who just bounced an over-inflated, rock hard basketball off of my already hurting head a moment ago and another about to spill my last can of red bull that I'm too lazy to salvage

I'll reiterate...F uck the kids

To be honest what Totti did was disgusting and he should be punished, but his horrific tackle was much, much worse. He could have broken that guys leg, or ruined jis knee for the rest of life, spitting in someone's face doesn't hurt.

This is sad. :kader:

Such a talented player. And he does this :|.

I don't want this guy at Madrid anymore, not if he is gonna do this.

You see him and Zidane and it shows why Zidane is the classiest player on earth.

oh well, zidane was suspended for 2gms in 98 for stamping and he came back to lead France to victory - Totti will take his punishment, apologize, and prove he is still one of the best by erasing this bad event with a European Title ;)

Dont try to defend him. :|

Because man Totti has class. Everyone knows Wayne Rooney is simply an animal with no respect. An18 year old slapping french players in the face, players that are a million times above him, that is disgusting.

But yeah Totti lost his cool, that was disgusting, but the best thing to happen to Euro 2004 would be Rooney getting 3 games for resembling a monkey from the jungle.

Totti should get Suspended for the whole "Spitting incident" but you can go back and review tape of his tackle and say that oh it should have been a red card so we are gonna suspend him {enter number} more game, you just cant becaues he got a Yellow card on the field and thats that.

Totti is very talented as is Del Piero. But Ale is a much better person that is why he is so popular, he never complains and is always as humble as can be. I hope this opens peoples eyes and shows that Ale deserves his spot. Not just because of his talent but also because he represents Italy with tact and honor and he plays with great sportsmanship.
