This plugin gives an ability to change starting year in the game.
Works with FIFA 07 (1.1/5'242'880bytes) and FIFA 08 (1.0/6'255'718bytes, 1.2/2'656'256bytes)

Download in attachment.

How to install:
1) Install plugin loader: for FIFA 07 / for FIFA 08
2) copy "plugins" folder from .zip to your game folder.

Edit plugins/season.ini in Notepad in if you want to change the starting year.

@Dmitri sorry for off-topic but didn’t you had any remasterd FIFA 07 topic somewhere here on the forum? I can’t find it anymore and was wondering how the progress was going.

Good afternoon. The plugin doesn't work for me.
I tried it on two versions!
FIFA 08 1.0 / 1.2 6 255 718 / 2 656 256
The settings file has not been read!
please check if you have the following file:

'plugins\season.ini'

if you don't have it, please reinstall the season plugin.Please note that in the current session, the plugin will be loaded with the default settings.

The plugin only changes to the existing 2022 season. The season.ini file does not respond to changes. As an example, I'm changing it to SEASON_START_YEAR 2012, there are no changes.

Did you put the file to "plugins" folder? Make sure you turned on extension display in folder settings, and the file is called season.ini

Yes, I moved the files to the plugins folder, then I edited the season file (in the file properties, the "Configuration Parameters" .Ini)"), it opens like a notepad, changed the year and saved it. Then I opened (.exe) 2.53 MB (2,656,256 bytes) and gave an error: The settings file was not read!

Bro, can you please help me? Can I get the updated db file for FC 24's FIFA 16 faces? No one answers. I uploaded the faces but I cannot transfer them to the game.
