No. You are much wrong. Europe disappear like popping balloon when FIFA 2004 come. They all run and hug Konami like brother returning from doughnut store with more than one box.
FIFA 2004 will be like bee looking for hive that disappear and turn into Walmart. No longer place to live. Konami steal house of bee and make home there. Bee now sad that it was idiot. EA is like idiot bee.
Half of Europe is big number like breast size of 400lb woman who eat small French people for dinner. This not accurate though. EA no BETA test anything. It like law of religion they no follow. BETA testing mean finding bad thing and not making all people have to have bad thing. EA make people have bad thing by leaving it in. People sad and cry like onion chopping job.

Did EA release a patch which could not have taken less than two days (if that) for a group of professional programers to put together, to fix some of the problems we encountered in FIFA 2003????

Matt Holme says they read the forums...... He is the manager of the FIFA community at EA they tell him this stuff. But then again i think Tristan would know more about this then Matt Holme.
You should try giving your ideas in a more respectfull way. EA doesnt need your business they have a world of people who like the licensed teams,players,kits,and great graphics. They wont be harmed much if a few people say they are going to go by from Konami. I dont think the gameplay is that bad it isnt mind blowing but its very good.

Not to be rude. But it seems like you have a very different standard for what a gameplay should be like.
I learn a lot 'bout life from people who consider the FIFA's gameplay to be "very good". I learn that people come from different backgrounds, cultures and wut not... and that they have different standards....though it may be extreme and hard to accept 'em at times.
I seldom saw anybody complement EA's gameplay [including FIFA2003] after having played WE/PES. I was hyped with FIFA2003. Still try...'n try really hard to enjoy FIFA2003 every once in a while.... but its just too hard to bare the laughable overlly scripted gameplay. [more like 'computer'play not gameplay]

Actually ahmedk, it was you who said that not to header the ball when alone is realistic so that sums up your total soccer knowledge right there. For those of us who watch pro soccer and play the game we know that players use quick headers sometimes to gain advantage to pass the ball on to other open players or to pass the ball to a more dangerous position on the field and last but not least, take headers at goal!!!
So what if EA do read these forums. It would be better if my guess was right and they never read them becasue all this means is that they see people complaining and yet still do nothing to fix the bugs! If my guess was right, at least we can just put it down to ignorance. Instead we have to put it down to ignorance and arrogance if they do read the forums.
Like I care if you think I'm a bitchy ho. I have buddies on here and no doubt I'll have people who don't care for what I say but if you want an ass-kissing forum go put it in the rules.
If EA don't care about a "few" (personally I think that number is increasing daily by a large amount and will increase even more once WE6 is released next week) customers leaving the FIFA series then what kinda freaking company are they? You never make sense about anything, I don't know how you got to be moderator. All you do is criticize people who disagree with your opinion, talk about the game like you've never seen a real soccer game in your life and try to crack down on free speech. Notice there are always plenty more people agree with me than disagree whereas I don't see many people jumping up to support your posts.
Have a freaking sense of humor, lighten up and understand there are people who feel FIFA 2003 was a rip off but still want EA to make a good game for FIFA 2004 to make up for it.

Well yes no headers when completly alone is real. You can do headers when a player is close anoff. I meant like in fifa2001 and 2002 where you can just header the ball when your at your end of the pitch with only team mates around.

Not sure how much you played WE/PES.
Cuz when I first bought WE5 during my transition period after FIFA2002, I really didn't see what was so good about this game.
If you have the time
You could check the WE/PES forum for old posts and find my post, actually, complaining why this game can't do this, can't do that..etc.
But after a good 2 week of constant playing, I became to realize what I was missing out.
It grows on you; the game's got a steep learing curve after all... heck, I still got more to learn.
Bet I could sit with you and play some WE comparing it with FIFA2003 and show all wut EA's missing. Got many of my friends converted from FIFA.
-You actually think the shooting system and physics is comparable to that of WE/PES???
-Wut about the freekick system??
-One two's?? Lob one two's?? One two thru-passes?? One two lob-thru-passes???
-Low hard shot??
-Slow yet well placed curve shots?? [use the chipshot and add some curve, you'll see what I'm talking about]

-Jostle for 50/50 headers?? Can you position your player FREELY when going up for a header? [I'm talking about the R2 button]
-How's the chip shot in FIFA? WE/PES got atleast 3 different type of chip shots
-Crosses?? Again there's 3 different crosses in WE/PES.
-Header shots?? In WE/PES there's so~ many variations in header shots.
-You know how pathetic the header passes are done FIFA??

-Is there a double press option during the game??
-Is there in game tactics that you can use instantly? [change formation, overlap of your backs, offside trap, counter attack, play the wings, play up the center, etc...] The best EA had were the IGMs or the press button or run button for FIFA99.
-How's the foul system??? Ever fouled for shoulder budging or pulling the shirt in FIFA????
-How's the goalies compared to WE/PES??
-Do you not agree that FIFA2003 is scripted in 'most every possible way???

EA do half of wut's mentioned above.. I'd be very pleased.
anyone that says fifa 2003 gameplay is realistic hasnt played or seen much soccer on real life. PES has a very steep curve at first is very frustrating cause you cant do **** right. 2003 has a lot of annoying things, that get more and more annoying every time you play, the only thing it does right is that pitch size is not bad and the pace of the game is not too bad either

in them movies the ball doesn't go through the player at all, especially in the 2nd one, very realistic, in FIFA 2003 the ball would have gone through the ghosts I bet at least 5-6 times!

lol sorry son, fifa 2003 is no where close to real., not even close.. Its close then 2002, but not any wher eclose to real soccer, here in america or elsewhere... when it comes down to it I think if you KNOW soccer, LOVE soccer and want the beautiful game to play the right way in a video game, you have ONLY konami games... Sorry WE, PES games specially with the kit patches (Rhapsody) destorys fifa in all departments.. Graphics??? well lets see in WE they actually strike the ball in a realisrtic motion.. fifa you can have you back toward the goal, turn on the dime all the while power up and strike this laser beam shot... so unbeleivably unrealistic.. If you think fifa is even close to Konami games, EVEN Winning Eleven 4, your nuts... that game blows.. I put it down after beating ever competition with Middlesbrough on world class, Juventis 4-0, AC Milan 3-0 give me a break.... doesnt matter if its AC MIlan or the pickup team from a retirement home... they play the same way.. horse****.... it lasted me a month or so and I went back to MLS extra time 2002 (Winning Eleven 4)......wake up!

Because you don't know or understand anything about soccer just like my cousin (he is 16 years old). He loves watching soccer but he does not get, understands anything of the game. When the midfielder makes an accurate 30 miters pass, I blow my mind and get excited, but my cousin is like 'Why are you so excited?' Then we start arguing about how much he doesn't know anything about soccer.
I only love soccer and I only play soccer. Yes I do like to watch volleyball, basketball.. on tv but than I don't understand them other than watching them.. Get it?
If you would understand some soccer than you would think that ISS2 is better then FIFA 2003. Yes for me it is better than FIFA 2003 and it is funny to say that.
