Juventus have offered 10 million euros for Miguel. Benfica rejected the offer.
Lisbon sports paper Record is reporting that Juventus have tabled a 10 million Euro offer for Benfica and Portugal wing Miguel.
Miguel, who has one of the biggest surprises of the EURO 2004 tourny, is the player Juventus boss Fabio Capello wants in order to resolve his current right wing problems.
The report also indicates Benfica have rejected the Serie A side’s offer as it is 5 million Euros below what they want for the player.
The two clubs are expected to meet during the weekend in an attempt to settle their differences and seal the deal off.

Before selling Miguel, Benfica should look at how much Paulo Ferreira cost Chelsea.

the difference is, Roman overpayed ferreira for about twice, and this is Juventus, which dont have money to throw around like Chelsea.

I don't think so, it was obvious he was not in shape in the end of the last season and in Euro 2004 but u have to look at what he made through the last 2 years he spent at Porto, he was probably the most regular player of our team and i think in his best form he's clearly the best portuguese RB and one of the best in Europe, maybe the most complete... About Miguel i think Benfica is being too much "birrento", i mean, he's a good player(not as good as P.Ferreira) but IMO asking more than 10 million € is too much for such a player like him.
