They can only make good basketball simulation games. The 2k baseball series is pretty crappy and can't come close to the The Show series, so much so that they scrapped it after last year.

Who makes that? Baseball fielding would have some similar mechanics to cricket fielding I guess

Not really. Baseball being in an arch makes it much easier. The ball is airways going within that 90°, not 360.

You don't have guys as close in baseball too - slips, bat-pad etc. This is often one of the things that doesn't translate well in cricket games

Also, fielding isn't the biggest concern in cricket, batting and bowling is, and that can't easily be converted from baseball, because the bouncing ball makes a huge difference.

I take it you've never played a cricket or AFL game

never played either game, last sports game i played outside of madden, nhl, fifa and fight night was a rugby game almost a decade ago and i had no idea what i was doing.

all i did was try to do what the cpu did and dive when i got into the area we call the end zone.

Hahaha. Because you are an expert on all of the world's sports, and the video games based on them.

I'm positive I've watched more American football than you've watched cricket, and played more Madden than you have the cricket games on various consoles and PC.

I can also ensure you that the cricket games are less realistic. Throw the AFL and Rugby League game into that too.

that is absolutely correct, i have never watched any of those sports, the first time i have ever watched a rugby match was when i was flipping through channels and my 8 month old caught it and cried when i changed the channel.

i went back to the match and we watched the last 20 minutes of a france vs argentina match as she would clap her hands and make strange sounds.

So you agree your post was a ridiculous unqualified overstatement?

It would at least be a better experience than any other proficient game designers'

was talking about the graphics!!

No. That would be the "look" of your statement "look and feel". You were also talking about feel. Don't try to dig yourself out of the hole.

Yes! E3 is always an exciting time. Trailer for The Witcher 3 also out, love the series and have big hopes for the final game.

I've seen vids of the NBA Career mode and my only wish is that they do that shit with FIFA. I get that the wider variety of nationalities and languages would make that difficult, but if they can pull it off with the NBA they can surely at least attempt something similar with FIFA. Even if they limit it at first or build it progressively for a few years, a proper career mode is the next step, they've spent enough time on mechanics and graphics.

I bought C.Ronaldo
Fifa should also copy the MyCareer of 2k and apply it to their Be a Pro mode. Having after match press conferences and interactions with other players on the pitch would be awesome.

The 2K career modes aren't that fun tbh. It might just be a preference thing for me since I play against other people and not the PC.

My internet connection isn't good and I rarely have people over anymore so most of my FIFAing is career mode, which needs improvement.

And yes, Hisashi, you have done an excellent job of repeating what I said.
