meh.. whatever.. I think all stats change, just some of em change slightly and sometimes they dont even change. I have a guy in my u21's with gr8 stats that I got him when he was 17 and now he's 20 and he has almost the same stats :( Maybe he has low potential or sumin :(

I don't know if this topic is still ongoing but I'll offer my thoughts.

I don't think regens exists because usually when new players come through, most of the new players are the same nationality as the league you're playing in.

For example if you are playing in the EPL and let's say you have a China and Canadian DDT file, then I think you will get most youngsters of those nationalities. It's amazing checking out how many English youngsters that just appear in my game with a potential ability of 180+. And considering how there aren't much English players with that potential ability to begin with and that very few retire early then I think it shows that regens don't exist.

I always check for new wonderkids by filtering out their age (19) and setting it at potential ability 180-200. If you guys play with more leagues then maybe you can try this out.

Good point with the English players, very few of them have less than 150 on my game, TALK ABOUT UNREALISTIC! :crazyboy: Surely a bug. :crazyboy:

Very good point, in my PSV game 2021/2022 there are like 15 players of 190+ potential from Holland+Italy. In my current Boca game (2007/2008) there are like 6 mexicans with a potential of 190+

I have the German, English, Italian and Spanish league selected and Italy England and Spain (less tho) Get soooooooo many gr8 young players. While in all the other countries in the world the good regens are very few. Italy have about 8-9 World Class GKs

i couldnt be assed runing that many leagues alex...i do think regensexist as thier stats and details are usually too similar to be a fluke...

regens are regens.. they are just replacements

i did 3 experiments.. in CM0102 tho

*all my experiments were done by giving nicknames to players and then searching for the nickname 1 year later

1st- Seaman: He turned out as an english midfielder (with CM Scout he had same hidden skills.

2nd- Chilavert: Turned out as a yugoslavian forward :|

3rd- Kohler: German defender (DCR, not DC)

all of the potentials were abit off

so i think the whole regen thing is just replacements respectivly
