You guys are gullible. Don't believe anything that hasn't come out of Cristiano's mouth.

I was posting more in amusement, The News of the World and the Sun have been trying to drive a wedge between him and United since the summer.

Like you though, until I hear it from the club or Ronaldo then meh!

What I do not understand though, is Fergie's obsession with gettig Owen Hargreaves. Don't think he's that good.
We've been through this before, he IS THAT GOOD. Plus Scholes isn't getting any younger, we need quality in depth in the centre mid, and no one is 100% a starter for Manchester United. Carrick and Scholes are playing as an awesome combo, but beyond them two we don't have the depth at all.

well Barca are set to offer Ronaldo £160,000 a week this summer thanx to an influx of Arab oil money, and this is coming from EuroSportNews they are a pretty reliable source, i guess if this offer is made its really gonna be down to how much Ronaldo wants to stay with United.

i don't find it strange that Barca is set to offer money for C.Ronaldo,he is hot at the moment!
but if he would go to Barca, is a different story!
I guess there will be a lot of "big" clubs after him in the summer but when we rape Chelsea for the title i guess he will continue at OT!

Help?

If Barca gives us 50 million pounds for Ronaldo, then he can go whenever he wishes as far as i'm concerned. Fergie will find somebody else to replace him, plus another replacement for Giggs.

No its going to be how much Man Utd want to keep Ronaldo, your talking as if they're going to take him on a free. If Barcelona want to break the world transfer record to take Ronaldo to the Nou Camp, and Man Utd accept such an offer, then it will be his choice.

the whole ronnie to barca/real is getting silly if we get offered daft money ie £50m then fair do's but the way people and the media are going on ronnie already left, what people fail to realise is that ronnie's contract runs till 2010 so i dont expect us to ship him off for anything less than the biggest fee ever seen if at all

I guess its up to the Glazers maybe they want a new mansion or yacht, I bet the club are desperately trying to get Ronaldo a new deal though , because I'm sure he isn't earning anywhere near the likes of Ferdinand and Rooney , If he turns down any deal he'll have to go.
I think Ronaldo will leave the club at some stage, I think more likely the end of next season , rather than the end of this season.

How good would that be.

SAF will fight like anything to keep hold of Ronaldo and it seems that Ronaldo is happy for the time being. I sure as hell hope he doesn't leave. And if he does i want £50mill+ for him. If/When we win the league this year i reckon he'll stay.

Not to stir things up, but i thought this was interesting.

MANCHESTER UNITED have been branded a bunch of overpaid fat cats by Euro rivals Lille.

Striker Peter Odemwingie has vowed to dump them out of the Champions League next week.

He said: “We may not have the fat bank accounts like United players, but in order to show we deserve the money they are getting, we have to kick them out.

“We are ready for anything. Names don’t really count in football. We play more like a team and do not beg for recognition.”

United aces like Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney rake in well over £100,000 a week at Old Trafford.

But Odemwingie, nicknamed Osaze, added: “We have quality players who have the experience to face the likes of Ronaldo, Rooney and Ferdinand.

“We have a younger team with strong players, who are ready to prove a point.

“They may have some of the best players on the Continent but we will not look at credentials when we meet. We beat Milan 2-0 in our last match — so playing United is no big deal.”
