just to let you guys know, Ronaldo scored today for us on a great goal, and played great but got subbed off later on the game and was on the bench with ice on his leg but it isnt seriouse.

Our boys really did well over the international games last night.Rooney and Ronaldo got a goal each respectively,Saha and Evra got a 45 minute workout,Rio and Carrick played the full 90.Rooney's goal should boost his confidence up along with the impressive Ronaldo.Things are settling in nicely for Sheff Utd,Celtic and Chelski.

i am confident that we will get results against sheffield and celtic and if we play our game against chelsea we should beat them. they aren't invincible anymore as tottenham and boro have shown us. blanket drogba, and most likely we should get the result. i dont find the diamond midfield they got that much threatning, as lampard and ballack get in each others way. essien and makelele are consistent performers in that midfield. they defence has been conceding goals. hopefully giggs and ronaldo will give boula and cole a hard time and rooney will hopefully take makelele out of the game.

Thing is, we won't play our first team in all three matches. We'll probably see quite a few changes for Sheffield. Which means we need major luck to get 3 points out of that because, as been thoroughly proven this season, our second string don't even look comfortable against Southend or Crewe, let alone Sheffield United. I for one would much rather if we played our strongest team against Sheffield and then the second string in Glasgow, because we can afford to lose points there and we need our best players fresh against Chelsea. We should see winning the league as our primary target thus not sacrificing any points because of the CL. Otherwise the ****up in Copenhagen could seriously come back to haunt us on both fronts.

Bayern dont want to sell Hargreaves because they would get massively taxed on any deal, so they probably would prefer a swap deal, its all rather boring though this Hargreaves talk.

i agree that our second-string squad is ****, but thats because when they go out they act like the result will come to them, and not like they have to earn it.

Who was it who said that we are looking at Rio Antonio Mavuba of Bordeux? Hes a pocket rocket of a player...a faster version of Makelele.
