Senderos is now #6. (H)

He was born to wear that number.

George, update accordingly please (H)

why did i volunteer for this :( lol seriously who looks at the first page after a week.

Dreath if hes good enough to get first team football at Arsenal he will get it, if hes not then oh well, wenger knows, if you look at the youngsters we have let go eg Pennant, Bentley, Sidwell none of them have gone on to become superstars

But Bendtner is a very good young player. He has all the makings for a great player, strong, great feet, good in the air, and scores goals. He's also down to Earth and works very hard. I don't want to lose him.

Now I really have a dilemma.

Two of these three:

Fabregas 4
Toure 5
Senderos 6

It'd be funny if people buy a Toure 5 and then later we sign Yaya. (H)

The only reason we will lose him is if he isnt good enough, or he does an Anelka

10 million for Davies? Not really worth it id say even though we need a Centre Back.

I agree. I f*cking hate buying English players, they're such a rip off.

yeah, and whats worst for English clubs is that they are criticized for not doing so. Check Carrick, £15m? Alan Shearer cost that much.

Yeh, although it be a shame for him to go to spurs.

It be alright if we payed 5 mill upfront then the rest after appearances, including international ones

I don't want him to go to Spurs, but ******* hell, 10m? Do we even have that?

This is why I hate buying English players. You know Kompany was sold for around 5m recently?

About time

Theo Walcott's agent says the Arsenal starlet will not be going out on loan from the North London side this season.

Recent reports had suggested that The Gunners were willing to use the prospect of loaning one of the country's brightest talents to help convince West Brom to sell highly-rated stopper Curtis Davies, whilst fellow Championship side Norwich City were also linked with a move for the lightning quick forward.

Walcott is still waiting for his senior Arsenal debut after joining Arsene Wenger's side from Southampton in January, and after his non-appearance at the World Cup finals his prospective Gunners bow could have been delayed further by a loan spell to gain experience.

However the prodigious 17-year-old's agent, Warwick Horton, has poured cold water on suggestions that Walcott could be farmed out next season.

"I am in regular touch with Arsenal and there has never once been a suggestion of Theo going out on loan," Horton told The Daily Express.

"He has learnt an awful lot since joining the club and was delighted Thierry Henry signed a new contract because he loves working with him in training.

"He is looking forward to starting the new season at the new Emirates Stadium and there is no reason why that won't happen."

Arsenal's first game of the new season is against Aston Villa on August 19, and Walcott will be hoping the first competitive game at The Emirates Stadium also marks his first appearance in the club's colours after making the bench for a number of UEFA Champions League games last season.

We signed two youngsters bobby

Arsenal have bolstered their squad with the signing of two highly-rated youngsters, winger Vincent van den Berg and defender Joe O'Cearuill.

van den Berg, who signs from Dutch team Heerenveen, had been linked with the Gunners earlier this year, but has only now signed a contract. The young winger played for Holland in the U17 World Championship last October and impressed with his performances.

O'Cearuill joins from Watford, and actually spent some time with Arsenal's reserve team last season. He will be hoping to gain some precious first team football with the departure of Sol Campbell.

Both players have been named in the squad that will play Barnet at Underhill on Saturday.
