Great Clasico again. (Y)

It's certainly just going to get better with time.

We had the win, but our lack of experience let the Gals back in.
Oh well.

wow, what an atmosphere in the Civas - Galaxy game! Stayed up last night to watch and was glad I did. Quite stunning, with a game to match it, both teams really went at it.

What you see on TV doesn't even come close to the real thing.
Think about 10x more noise.

I was at work, so I saw the game there, but my cousin was there since he's part of the Legion, (the bastard :p ), and he said it was just fantastic.

The Home Depot is a really small stadium, so the level of noise there gets really, really high.
Specially if you seat on the east side, then it really feels like the stadium is about to fall on you, since you got all the supporters on the upper section thumping down with their feet on top of you, plus you got the Mariachi on your back, and the two rival supporters sections on each side of the field.

Crazy, I love going there.

...oh, and once the "Wave" gets going, you pretty much miss long parts of the game, since it goes around pretty fast... :fool:

Woohoo, the Crew didn't lose this week. :rockman:

Shifty, the Fire must really suck if they can't beat the Crew, seeing how teams hammered them the first two weeks. (H)

Chelsea to play MLS All-Stars in August

Chelsea today unveiled plans to play Major League Soccer's All-Star team in Chicago on August 5, as part of their summer tour to the United States.

Mourinho said: 'I am very happy to be coming back to the United States again. This will be our third year preparing for the new Premiership season in America and it is ideal preparation.

'This time we will have a very tough game against the best players in the MLS. Last year we played DC United and I was very impressed with the standard of American players then.'

Last month, the Premiership champions announced a tie-up with US entertainment group AEG, who operate four MLS teams and built the new Bridgeview Stadium where the All-Star game will take place.
