Im agree, but who are you gonna remove? Xabi Alonso, Xavi or Cesc?

Remember we have 2 players per position, and we will have no wingers, only Reyes.

I would like to have Guti too, and Cani... but we can have only 20 field players (8 midfielders, 8 defenders and 4 forwards)

Maybe something like this

GK:
Casillas
Canizares
Reina

RB:
Ramos
Salgado

CB:
Puyol
Pablo
Juanito
Albiol

LB:
Pernia
A. Lopez

CM:
Senna
Alonso
Cesc
Albelda
Iniesta

RW:
Luis Garcia
Joaquin

CF:
Villa
??well I guess Torres and Moro.

LW:
Reyes
Cani ( Vicente will most likely not be fit enough )

The RB's and CB's are not the best as Ramos should be a CB but than who will play RB? Salgado is alright on defence but he is slow to attack so not so sure there. The forwards as I have said are questionable but thats what I think I might go with. Anyways it should imo look something like this -

----------------Casillas----------------
Ramos------Puyol------Pablo------Pernia
----------------Senna-----------------
------------Cesc------Xabi------------
Luis Garcia-------Villa-------------Reyes

What do you think?

Looks great, but I hope you meant Xavi and not Xabi ;)

Valencia has sacked Subirats. This is the man that has to be "blamed" for building the valencia team that reached 2 CL finals few years ago and won a Liga, and who after 1 or 2 years out of the club came back last may and again made a team that is 2nd in La Liga.

Now he has been sacked... Valencia has this... :nape:

Carboni, who retires this season after some centuries playing football, will take his place.

Raul shouldn't be in the squad but he'll go because of things he's done 6 years ago.
You're wrong, it's 10 years ago, when he debutted  Everybody knows Raul has still been one of the key players for Spain in the last years.

I dont think he will be fit enough or in good enough form...but I could be wrong, I just dont think he will be ready for WC.

No, everybody believes he's been a key player, but if you take off your tinted glasses and see what he's actually done you'd know he's not all he's cracked up to be. I really only started watching Raul on the NT starting with WC2002 and then Euro2004 and like any good spaniard I watched every minute of both. He was not a key player in any sense of the word. What he did with the national team before that I can't attest to.

Socrates, a Xavi who has only been fit for a month is better than Xabi Alonso.

Huh? I trying to be balanced in picking which mids should go but an unfit Xavi should not go for a fit Xabi. ACL recovery is tought to handel, I know this because I am going through the same injury right now and its a bitch. If not Xabi than Guti can also be picked, he can play many differnet spots which helps out at the WC because you never know what will happen and I think he is good for it.

Mmm NO. Xavi has only played like 20 minutes in the last 4 months... I would put Iniesta, Cesc, Xabi Alonso, Guti... in front of him (if he doesn't reach june at least at 90%, that's it)

EDIT: I'm already a veteran yahoooo :D

I like Xabi Alonso but please shut up with Guti already. He won't go and he's just a decent passer, that's it, no movement and no heart so he can piss off. There's probably 10 midfielders ahead of him.

Let's get biased. No hearth? He has had a huge attitude in the last 2 or 3 years in Madrid, captaining the team many times, playing even as DM, commiting a lot of faults when needed and being yellow and red carded frequently. That pussy player legend is bs, feeded only by his fag appearance.

BTW I laugh at Laporta and Beguiristain... "This is the confirmation of a cycle change" "We're making history" You have won 2 f*cking leagues in a row!! Win 3 CL in five years and you'll make history

I never thought I'd see the day that Marca would say this. How long before they're photoshopping Madrid jerseys on players rumored to be bought?

LOL , yes having heart is getting red carded

By having no heart i mean that i see him too many times just standing around (like most Madrid players). When he plays as a DM all he does is stand in front of the defense (Arsenal game for example) and pass around but barely moves.

He's good as an AM and can give good passes and score, no doubt but in that position most people would rather have Xavi, Cesc, Iniesta and probably even Cani who can play on the right also.

Not only that but he's too irregular. The best chance he could have is coming from the bench like he used to do for Madrid but i just don't think Aragones rates him and he'd even take De la Peña, Raul Garcia or Baraja in front of him.

Im going to have to agree that Guti sucks....
he's a top passer on his day, but he cant tackle worth $#!t, he cant dribble, and he gets a lotof cards because of his anger
