Very, very good match for Crouch. His touch was very neat at times, and a nice turn and finish on his goal. He can be lethal for Pool if he shows that same kind of form throughout the next season. Good to see Gerrard scoring, and i expected to see something more from Walcott.

The guy has pace, but he couldnt control a single ball if can recall.

watched first 20 mins and last 20 mins saw Gerrard's goal and the one from Crouch..... Crouch played well some really good one touch..Gerrard also played well as second striker...Gerrard can actually plays any position :) Joe Cole was really class... he really can cause a lot of trouble to defenders...he's tricky and real quick... the left side with the 2 Cole is very good.. both Cole are very quick... good win and good performance overall Can't comment on Hargreaves haven't watched much enough...but last 20 mins i watched he played well some good passes.. is Neville injured?

The thing with Carrick is he got the chance to play as a defensive midfielder for the last England friendly and didn't do well. he was hesistant.

Carrick is able to do "hollywood" long range passes as well and I think Sven might prefer Beckham to dictate the play instead of Carrick like he does for Spurs.

Gaz s slightly injuried - hopefully nothing serious [out of the upcoming friendly according to bbc]. his linkup with Becks was class again. :)

Carra was allright appart the passing when he recovered the ball as a DM. I think that's were Carricks advantage lies.

the bavarian superstar sucks wherever he plays for England - definetly a squad place that could get used for someone else.

You guys have been assigned Marco Rodriguez (MEX) as the ref for ur opening match. Theres so much I can say about him, he tries to be the main attraction in every game he refs. I GUARANTEE u he will send off at least 2 players. He has his own interpretation of certain rules and gives yellows/reds like nothing. Just thought I d bring that to ur attention.

Hes very fit in terms of his physical abilities, he'll be all over every play. I give him props for that. But his major problems are his ego and the fact that he misjudges a lot of calls... and quickly reaches for the card. Ull see him, he'll try to become the star of the game, he'll make himself known. I kno, Ive seen him week after week in the Mexican league. He once sent off 2 players, 1 from my team, for a shoulder to shoulder crash. And more recently in the mexican league playoff final he sent off 3 players from one team, he completely fu*ked them over. He looks like a vampire btw, just thought id mention that last fact. haha

Crouch got his hat trick against Jamaica 6-0 good match :) Carra good at right back and striking duo Crouch Owen worked really well :)
