Tennis involves running and hand eye coordination. And you have to hit the ball inside the court. You don't just smack it anywhere.

If it's so easy then why aren't you a pro? After all it's just picking up a racket and smacking a ball

Dude, just shut up and save yourself the trouble.

You're the one who said soccer is about picking up a ball and learning how to play.

Your sorry ass piece of excuse works for every sport. Dumbass.

I remind you:

Anyone with a ball can learn how to play soccer.

Anyone with a ball and a racket can learn how to smack it. Anyone with hands can learn how to punch. Anyone with a ball and a basket can learn how to shoot inside it. Anyone with a paintbrush can be the next Da Vinci... it just goes on. It works both ways.

Tennis involves running and hand eye coordination. And you have to hit the ball inside the court. You don't just smack it anywhere.

No ****in ****! You can't just pick up a ball and kick it anywhere- you have to aim for the goal. You can't just pass it anywhere, you have to make it accurate. But you're probably like the majority of Americans, who take the ball and run with it as fast as you can down the field and try to walk with it into the goal- no vision on the pitch, no technique, no dribbling skills.

If it's so easy then why aren't you a pro? After all it's just picking up a ball and learning how to play soccer.

Lets face it, if ESPN was based in Canada, the hardest sport would be rock-paper-scissors, since that's the only thing they're good at. Just ignore it.

They probably used 12 year olds in their study.
I've actually played both American football and baseball (and they both suck) American Football was the easiest for me catch the ball and outpace the defender to the end of the field. Baseball is just hand eye coordination. Hitting the ball with a bat is not so hard once you get used to it. The problem is that everyone else sucked at those two sports.

Football of course is the most physically demanding hardest and funnest games around. As someone said, i too would play football 162 times a year if i could.

I'm from Canada you fool.

And we invented sports like Basketball and Hockey. So I have no idea what you're talking about.

And soccer is easier than the other sports because you can take the ball and kick it around. It's EASIER than picking up a racket and placing a shot in the court.

What kinda sports do you guys play in your PE class in Britain? Because here in Canada we play all kinds of sports like soccer, american football, rugby, etc, etc.

It's funny how you guys degrade some of the sports listed but yet you guys probably barely play it.

Canada invented Baseball? Doubtfull.

I don't give a **** that you're from Canada, in fact my comments weren't in regards to your insignificant ass anyway.

So you can kick something around but you can bounce something off an object around easily? Unless you have like arthritis(sp?) in your hands, it's pretty ******* easy to pick up an object and hit a ball. As easy as it is to KICK a ball.

PS: I'm not living in Britain... "YOU FOOL."

I've played American Football-10 seconds of play followed by 40 seconds of stopping. I've played baseball, not much to do, pick up a ball or throw it, or pick up a bit and hit a ball.

Every sport is easy to play, but not every sport is easy to master skillfully. Soccer has so many more skills to master then a majority of the sports ESPN rates above it.

1. Boxing - you can spend $50 on a boxing bag, hang it from the ceiling and punch it
3. Football - take a football and throw it around
4. Basketball - take a basketball, and throw it in the air aiming for the rim
7. Tennis - i've already said what I think about this

You fail. Just give up already. That argument is weak.

I said basketball. Learn to read. And you think it's easy to master baseball and the other sports? Try hitting a 100mph ball everytime. And when you say you played American football, did you play touch football or tackle while wearing all that equipment on.

Like I said before, did you look at the criterias used to judge these sports.

And I wasn't referring to you when I said I live in Canada. I was referring to the guy above you who thought I was a damn Yank

Ok I give up. Britain rules. Soccer is the most difficult sport in the world. All those other athletes who participate in those other sports have it easy because they can't handle the rigours of soccer. Happy?

But I'm from the U.S. :hump:

Football:

- Speed
- Dribbling
- Shooting/Passing power/accuracy
- First touch/Ball control (Controlling the ball with your hands is a lot easier than with your legs)
- Tackling
- Vision on the field
Helpful:
- Heading
- Jumping
- Strength

There's just so many things that make you a complete player in soccer. In most of the other sports, you only have to master 1 aspect of the game to be good.

Good point there man, because in most sports they only use their hands to throw, catch or swing at the ball. IN soccer you use your hands occasionally for throw ins and the GK's, plus you use your feet your chest and pretty much every part of your body. Catching a ball is much easier than controlling it on your chest at times. Also hand-eye coordination is basic motor skills learned when your a toddler:kader: And its even harder to concentrated for 90 minutes surrounded by lunatic fans that would f*ck ya up if they got the chance:D . BTW who cares if all those guys got injured while playing american football that dont means its hard lol

I assumed you were from Britain cuz of your majority of American comment.

Well of course all those things are involved. But other sports have many aspects to it as well. Just look at the site and see the categories that were used to judge the sport.

It lists things like Endurance, Handeye, Strength, Power, Speed, etc.

The thing is soccer is an easier sport compared to the others listed. That's why it's the most played sport in the world.

I'm just ticked off because other ppl are simply saying that soccer is THE HARDEST sport out there and simply say that the other sports are easy as hell.
