Reg, are there codes that really affect Career Mode gameplay, AI cheating to be precise? Cause, honestly, I didn't noticed any major difference with any cl/rna.ini that have codes for Career mode; OVERALL_RATING_DIFF and DIFFICULTY_MODIFIER.

I understand that every1 wants to know how everything works.But this is really SEPAKBOLA thread and is intended for his sliders discussions.I know i also use the thread for the cl.ini but only for feedback since i dont want to get too far from the topic and because we have been working together in operationsports forums.
I guess it would be better for people willing to test and try codes, to open a thread for that purpose.
Just my 2 cents.

…which look a lot like your tongue-in-cheek line above. And, to your point, if you're having to use numbers like 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (100 octillion, or 100 billion billion billion) then [A] that line probably has no effect anyway or relies on a value like 0.0-1.0.

On a side note, even extreme editing of player attributes in the database (balance and strength 1, aggression 99) doesn't seem to increase foul counts that much, but I did see something I have never seen in a FIFA game — a referee stop a free kick setup to foul/card someone in the "wall" in front of the 'keeper. Nice touch.


Those lines im sure fidel got them from old Regularcat mod back from fifa 11.I remember at that time i used it for a while and those codes were there.

But there are code that you will see can be extracted from ram at running time which i haven't seen in the exe or data files.
So as i said, that discussion is something that is been going on for years and even when i respect and accept everyones opinion, i do not agree with some.
To finish, is not that big of a deal.You can download the file, use it, give feedback about the gameplay and ill try to fix or change whatever is necessary.
Now how or if it works, i really dont want to start another one of those discussions cus, as i said, been reading too much of that the last few years to know that it will end nowhere.
Then again, there ARE lines of codes in the file that dont work, havent clean it yet.Also there ARE lines of code that some people believe to do nothing, but through hours of testing, i , like some others, believe they do have an impact.
As i said, opinions vary and there is no point of discussing those sort of things.
If anyone wants to provide feedback on how the file plays , that is mostly appreciated. If you want to discuss the code, send me a pm and we can indeed talk a lot about it, i dont mind :)

Oh and about the database.You need to lower agility and tackle ratings. Something like Balance=1, strength and agility =20/30 , Aggression =90 and tackles at 1 should give you more realistic fouls, but also some weird ones :P

I agree. At least for me it is to much of that strange rush.
On 15 minutes half lenght feeling is better but still not perfect.
This for sure depends on individual "taste".

A simple fix, and one I'm considering after multiple games, is simply dropping Run Frequency from 40 to 1. This has worked in the past - and I think you will see it will be less frantic. Try it out.

That's what I've did with the latest Zarze CL. Much better and less frantic indeed.

i've been saying this for a few days now :)
I have no intention of affecting buildup mecanics.The aproach of the file is to work with a set of sliders.Im using it with yours and run freq at 1 and im having a blast in my CM.
And that is because if some1 wants a more frantic play, they can up run frequency and have it.For a more slowed down build up, lower run freq. That makes the file work for everybody. My intention was to give more shots from the cpu , better physical play and a more realistic ball physics and i think so far it worked great.
Ill have something else by the end of the week.

I didn't think they could - I know Fidel has inputted the altitude setting that actually works. But I know we couldn't control the way the ball bounces. That is why I had Accel raised to 55 because now players can somewhat catch up (have a chance) to those stray balls.

there was this time that this dude used cheat engine to manipulate the ball physics in fifa 13 and i think it is also possible to do so with 14 just that i dont know how to and no one seems to be interested in showing me because for me if the movement and physics of the ball is realistic, the games is perfect.

Hi SEPAKBOLA. I have seen on your youtube chanel that you fixed bug with net in the game. Maybe it's possible to fix boots bug too using settings.lua? They are too dark in night matches.

There probably has, I know the right coders will get it to work eventually. The good thing is were are in a very strong sim community that's goal is to provide the best experience.

I'll look, but as I said in the video, I had given credit to Bulkan here for the thread that included the fix, so I'm by no means an editor - or a knowledgeable one at that :) - but I can surely try!

Btw, I did an update today - and I really got away from the pass speed - that was resulting in some jerky animation - basically just too damn fast for my liking. Some other changes as well:

So here are the changes:

1. Marking from 90 to 73
- the goal is fouls and coverage - 90 overpursuit, 73 seems to be a happy medium.

2. Pass Speed from 60 to 40
- pace of play needs to be toned down, this the true way.

3. Run Frequency from 40 to 20.
- 40 is a bit high with the changes, but 20 allows the CPU to make a passing mistake because with the slower pace of pass speed they choose to play safer when run freq is at a lower value.

4. Acc from 55 to 50. (testing phase)
- still testing, but seeing better physical play.

All still testing, but want to let you guys know as well - let me know your thoughts - thanks!

Matt, I know you emphasise that your sliders should be used on legendary - however, I'm new to FIFA and keep getting a whipping on legendary :(.

Will your sliders be effective on a lower level, while I get accustomed to the game?
