And no matter what raul will be amazing to you just because he was in the squad during some important games... When did Raul actually CARRY a team to a title? And I dont mean carry in the sense of giving nice plesant interviews- I mean scoring and doing something on the field because no one else would? I think that one CL final. which is a great accomplishment- dont get me wrong- but R9 has done alot more.
That's were you wrong, if it were true than I would want Raul to start right now but I don't. Well his 3 CL's, 4 Liga's, and other titles were when he carried the team because he was an important part of the team. He has more than just 1 CL final to boast about.

If its because of Brasil- that Ronaldo is good then please explain to me- Luis Fabiano, Adriano, R Oliveira, Edmundo, Edilson, etc..... where were they after playing as striker for Brasil? Are you telling me Brasil wouldve won the 2002 WC WITHOUT Ronaldo's 8 gols?
For the last time it wa snot a serious comment, Jesus do you have trouble reading? I was responding to big al's comment about Raul only being good because he is with Madrid, I just filled the name and teams to show him how stupid he sounded. Of course both comments are not true but the difference was that mine was not serious.

And not to mention just gols- Ronaldo gives more assists than Raul does too. Look at the stats. Look at the overall carreer stats.
Ronaldo and work seem to not match, well Ronaldo and poor attitude do match though.

the truth on the matter is that Raul has been rubbish for the last 4 years, and Ronaldo along with Casillas has been the best Madrid player. Even though Ronaldo is lazy or whatever you want to call him- he's been the best Madrista in the past 4 years. Zidane, Figo nor Raul kept a high level throughout the whole season like R9 did.
Ronaldo was the only striker the team had, he geez he is the topscorer and like I said he has talent but a poor attitude. Sometimes it feels like you don't even read my post? Anyway Ronaldo was bought for marketing reasons just like Beckham was because at the time both positions were very strong with Figo and El Moro.

And another thing:
Helguera says that Ronaldo was a very nice player to have in the dressing room.
Cannavaro says Ronaldo is still the best
Del Bosque said that Ronaldo unites the dressing room- not divide it.
The same Helguera who threated to join Barca if he did not get a new contract? And please don't tell me you beleive everything the players say to the media. Del Bosque, the guy who let the superstars do anything they wanted to. Cannavaro plays like he is drunk, maybe he was drunk when he said that?

so I ask- where IS the problem when Madrid hasnt won titles for the past 4 years? I think its the one guy who never performs, but for some reason is always playing.
The problem is buying superstars that were not needed and letting the workers/squadplayers go. We had a very thin squad when Queiroz was coach otherwise we were actually doing good that season until the end.

You're so full of s'hit it's unbelievable. Go watch some video clips of Ronaldo playing for Barca or Inter and come tell me that he hasn't proven his class in club football. I'll say it again, on his day he was the best player in the world. His goal count proves that and so did his overall performances. There was a reason he was so highly rated as a player. He has done it on any level more than Raul could ever have and that's because he is amongst the most talented players ever. There are several reasons why he won't be remembered as one of the greatest ever but he's not that far behind. Whereas in 15 years no-one besides Real fans will remember Raul.
I'm full of **** because I have a different opinion than you do on the topic of Ronaldo, nice logic
. I don't need to watch clips, I watched entire games of both players to judge them on my own. We already talked about his "amazing goal count" that got him so far. On his day, lol nice way of putting, maybe he should have more of these "days". There is also a reason why Raul was so highly rated aswell. O rly, what excatly has Ronaldo done in the CL? Not much. Raul has done more than him and won more than him, thats a fact. Maybe if your 10 than in 15 years you won't remember Raul but lots of other people will.
