hi kareem,my pc is P4 3.2 with GEFORCE 6800 GT, 2MB memory
and i have the same problem, the game is not smooth,flickering,and blurring and no 1280X1024 resolution with the latest drivers of course
thanks for your help ,ive played fifa series since fifa 98 and it's the first time i see that problem
please help us thxs

Kareem take this as example... a SUPER MACHINE and the game isn't smooth, now you can start to see what's happening and what we are complaining about. BRING RENDER_EVERY_AI_FRAME back...

I hope I've not sounded sarcastic or negatively critical - having realised that a barrage of EA SUCKS posts will produce only a vacuum of Kareem, my aim is to be as helpful as poss.

I've posted my Direct X report but like a lot of other people, I'm having trouble finding a screen grab. Hypersnap doesn't pick the problem up so I'm drawing a blank on this one...,.

If your problem is the same, please submit a screenshot. I have told you this before and advised people to submit screenshots ANYWAY, even if it seems like a normal shot.

I'll clarify this 1 more time.
For this to go forward, I need screenshots from you ALL. The more the better, essentially. I cannot go back to our devs here and just say the screenshots dont show the problem without having a single screen to show that. I need screens taken while the problem was occuring, and even if it seems like the screens do not show the problem, there may be something there that does.

No-one is still submitted a single screen grab, even though everyone says they have them... CVS even stated he/she is using Hypersnap...

Can you all please submit your screenshots.

Im glad to hear you a feeling better an have returned to help.

I dont think it is possible to capture the problem in a screen shot. A screenshot is after all a capture of a single frame.

The pictures on page 3 of this thread show the problem perfectly!

You know, I still the easiest way for the devs to understand what we are trying to fix here would be for them to install either FIFA2004 or EURO 2004 (Come on they must have a copy!!!) play it once to experience the choppiness and then to add the immortal RENDER_EVERY line to the high cfg file in DATA/CMN and then to play again and experience the sweet smoothness it results in!

Things I have tried so far that have failed.

1) Forced refresh rates at 60, 70, 72, 75, and 85.

2) 5 Different Forceware sets

3) Limiting render ahead in forceware

4) V sync on and off

5) Alt tabbing doesnt fix it like it does in Pro Evo 3. (Really it does!)

6) Changing the priority at which fifa2005.exe runs.

This is what i'm trying to say in all this pages but Kareem asks for Dxdiag, screenshots... come on, it's that difficult to search for a command in a code?

Be thankful we are actually getting help from Kareem. If it wasnt for him we'd be stuck in the ****. but no he decided to help us. So i don't care what he asks for as long as it helps him discover the problem. I understand it is frustrating and taking a long process, but he's trying his best.

Keep the good work up Kareem some of us are behind u!

Not to offend anyone but if the problem isnt fixed by now, i dont think it will be.

I am running AMD XP 3000+ @ 2.2ghz, 512mb ram and an old 9600 SE Game Buster 128mb (that i borrowed off a friend) and the game works flawlessly for me. No blurriness or jumping. The only time it jumps is when emule runs in the background but thats always a memory hog.


The only problem with it is repetitive gameplay;)
