Well well it seam our first signing in the winter market will be Huntelaar !!! They says the club might confirm it today.

Ajax made a statement on their official website tonight:"Huntelaar not sold to Real Madrid"

Translation:

Media have been reporting about a transfer of KJH to Real Madrid. These reports about a deal between Ajax and RM are not true, Ajax did not sell Huntelaar to Real Madrid.

End of statement.

And if we do sell him 20M is a joke :clapwap:

yeah its al media speculation, no on from real madrid or ajax has said anything.

if we do get him then its probably the right choice as he is elegible for the champions league.

but we still need a new defender and a winger. all weve got now is drenthe.

He is sold and bough....20M is cheap man, considering all things even 27, I think we made a good deal....also He is an RVN type guy just younger and still learning...

Shows how crappy the youth academy in Madrid is, buying yet another player from Ajax because our youth academy is the best in Europe year after year I wonder why... :browsmiley: Wesley (ex-Ajax), Rafael (ex-Ajax) and now Klaas Jan..
Another Dutch player, maybe you should consider the color Orange in stead of white

What happens when Ruud will return from his injury??
Klaas Jan can warm up the bench just like Rafael van der Vaart :clapwap:
The buying of players by Real Madrid is ridiculous, no young players of their own and when a player gets injured why not buy another one abroad :icon_spin:

Don't get me wrong Klaas Jan deserves this transfer, he worked hard for us and I wish him all the best but I hope they will treat him well over there.
He's a striker who can score many goals for a team providing he gets the right passes and crosses from other players.

Anyways congrats you bought a hell of a player, he could make the difference for you guys to become champions again.

haha ... it's like a flashback to 10 years ago, except this time it's with a nightmarish twist!

well, he is eligible for the Champions League, and he was hotly pursued during the summer ... they just have to fork out another 40+M ...

this sort of deal could easily have been worked out just after the season finished or just after the EUROs ... I mean, I'm sure there was more than just one team who could/would have offered 20M, plus variables ... he was kept specifically so that Ajax could win the league and make an impact in the UEFA Cup ... now they've suddenly decided they can win the league AND make an impact in the UEFA Cup without KJH ... if that was the case, why didn't they just auction him in the summer, and bring in a replacement then?

anyway, good for Klaasy, and all the best to him; like Martijn said, he's earned his big move ...

There no denying that Ajax youth academy is one of the best of the world. They should take exemple of the Ajax youth academy to make Real Madrid youth academy better. Huntelaar will have playing time because Ruud is out for the season. Even for next year Ruud is not a young lad no more so Huntelaar will have minutes. He and Higuain are the future for the team. I am sure Huntelaar will be well treated. He will shine for Real Madrid.

just for the record huntelaar came from psv's youth system not ajax, ajax brought him from heerenveen.

anyway good signing cant wait to see him playing with higauin up front, should be great.

How long until the honeymoon phase is over? Nearly every Madrid signing is followed by heaping praise and predictions of great things to come. Then several unproductive/injury-riddled months later, the promise is forgotten. Ruud is the last player I remember actually living up to or exceeding expectations after they were signed.

However, I wish Huntelaar the best. I like what I've seen from him and always like to see guys like these shine, regardless of the shirt they are wearing.

Rudd is the last Madrid signing I was truly excited about...well I was excited about Ruben De La Red and he performed well while we had him I really hope he comes back.....I am 50-50 on this Klass thing...I mean he COULD be great for us, but I just feel that he doesnt bring what we need which is mobility from the middle to the front...He does bring back the ability to kill games in one instant, something we have missed since Rudd...

I disagree Arnau, Van der Vaart is better and more sharp, I cannot imagine why they are using him as a sub at Real Madrid :(

Mijatovic stated today that Huntelaar has to earn his place in the team and he will be benched (as i thought). He literally said that they 'bought him to strengthen the team if necessary but for now he will be used as a sub.
Robben, Raul and Higuain will stay their attacking force and KJH has to fight for a place in attack.

This confirms my worries aobut this transfer, he will get playtime but how much?? That's the question.
From Ajaxcaptain to Madrid-sub how stupid is that?!

Knowing Klaas he will fight hard to become the best striker with Ruud and he will succeed at it too because he's one of the best strikers around.
He's always cool and collective, we call him 'Mr Ice' over here.

granero its an awesome 19 years old talent and real madrid gif to getafe :icon_spin: he already show a great performace vs his old club last weekend and always appear in important matches (copa del rey last year final) its a young leader with a great future.

I agree we need someone who can run at defenders and add blistering pace , its something were missing. but this guy is a great buy imo.

Silencer I dont know where you got your info from I have seen nothing of the sort either way Klass's place in the team is for the coach to determine not the athletic director....

I have to be honest there is a lot of doubt in me about a certain problem with our signigs...Im not knocking The Hunter yet, I mean he could very well prove to be everything we wanted...but lets be honest...why is Drenthe in our team and not one of the Cantera guys...Why is Metzelder in our team and not say Christopher Schorch....Why Saviola and not Bueno, or Slazai...I mean...Why Marcelo and not Velayos....Why dudek and not just Codina....You see what I am saying? Madrid shoudl sign the World Stars, Messi, CR, Benzema, Dihno, Ribery, that sort of player, the complimentary guys should come from our youth system cause who knows one of them might turn into the next Raul, or the next Casillas.....and just today a legend in our club Michel resigned as director of our youth program for what he called the fact that Calderon and Pedja ignore the youth system and their players and do not know anything about them

It's allover the media here in my country, on internetsites, newssites so that's where I got my information from and oh yeah..not to forget the Ajax networksites..

This is from one of the most read newspapers in Holland:

Calderón ziet in Huntelaar vooral een bankzitter. “We hebben al goede aanvallers. Dus de spelers die worden aangetrokken, komen in eerste instantie om te helpen, voorlopig om iets bij te dragen. Onze ideale spelers voor de voorhoede blijven Arjen Robben, Raúl en Gonzalo Higuaín,” aldus Calderón

Translation:

President Ramon Calderon from RM says that Huntelaar will mainly be used as a sub for now and he basically expects him to sit on the bench.
So the new players for Madrid have been bought first and foremost to help the team with their talents.
"Our ideal players in front are Robben, Raul and Higuain and this will stay that way" said Calderon.

This is only one of the sources, it was even on the news on tv last night.
