Suazo was on Marca's list also. What do you guys think about that? He still belongs to Inter and Mourinho doesn't like him. He is on a loan to Benfica. He would be an easy one to get to go to Real Madrid.

O'k, so lets see.. On to rumors. Schuster claims that Raul is leading a campaing to cause division between players and the coach. Schuster is not going into the locker room during halftime to give that motivation talk. Also, pedja would like to bring in Crespo, but that Calderon doesn't want him.

All this drama is just sickening, and I just gotta say.. F**K Calderon, A**hole focused all his energy on Ronaldo during the offseason without thinking about bringing in players to cover our defence, as King has mention.

As for the game.. another pathetic display. Heinze is a moron, WTF was he thinking?? and our defence is shocking, with heinze leading the way.. Three guys and he is able to get enough time to prepare and and put it in... WTF WAS THAT??..

I gotta just say it, we miss robihno, his ability to make crosses, get past defenders and opening the way for our guys up front.. But you don't agree right Calderon?? you would rather try and bring in a player by offering a ridiculous amount of money without thinking about weather it may unsettle one or two players. And hey, if that doesn't work, hell, lets just sell one of our best players..

O'k so that rant may be all wrong, but in the end my point is that calderon is an Idiot. We still have enough class players to get something, but unless there is stability, we may end up with nothing.

And Calderon, if we can get Crespo... You better go after him, otherwise, you'll be an even bigger A**hole..

well i dont really undestand why its only pedjas fault or calderons for that matter..... you guys are really missing the big picture here, i really see resemble from this team to the barca from the last season after touching glory... you guys have lost the sense motivation and thats the main problem i see, schuster has a big blame on this too, and the players of course.... you guys with this same team had an spectacular season, how you go from there to this, plus the injurys are really hurting the team, like i always mention, what is the team going to do without ruud, many would say higuain would step up, or even so the midfield, but iam not only talking about scoring goals, but having a player who is a game finisher, saves you when the rest of the team is playing crap, in this kinda of game like the valladolid one usually ruud would come out of nowhere to socre 2 goals in the last minutes.... and i guess its easy to blame pedja or calderon for non siginings, or it will be easy to get rid off schuster, but i still think the players really need a shake off to wake up, theyonly need a spark of motivation, and the thing can get rolling again.... still the season is long, and nothing is writing yet, but if you guys keep going out there like zombies this the season is gonna feel much longer.

I agree bout the motivation thing. Some good points here. Injuries shouldnt be an excuse. Thats what "good" bench players are for.

Is yer Calderon daft or what? Here's an article that will get even the Madrid fans laughing at his daftness....:D

http://www.realmadrid.com/cs/Satellite/en/1202755483863/noticia/Noticia/Calderon_on__El_Largero_.htm

"The King's Cup elimination shouldn't have happened, but it is no reason for alarm. Chelsea recently conceded four goals against a Fourth Division team and no one's said anything about it. Chelsea and Villarreal fans would have liked their teams to win. Real Madrid hasn't won the King's Cup in 16 years, so I don't think this is a current problem; it has nothing to do with this team, with Schuster or with this Board."

Is he thinking about the penalties(which are not deemed as match goals) we conceded and are Burnley not 'second' division instead of fourth ?

We lost 4-5 on penalties to Burnley(a 2nd division team).
Its clear Calderon talks with his arse and not his brains. :S

What is my team's excuse? For what? I think you know as well as I do that it's near impossible to compete with teams like Madrid and Barcelona for financial reasons. But money only gets you so far.

I don't think there is a short-term solution for Madrid this year. Madrid has lacked identity for a few seasons now, and now more than ever. I don't have a clue what your ideal 11 is. Of course the injuries hurt and the press is relentless. You also have the "disadvantage" of having teams gunning for you (Real Union wouldn't have been half as motivated if they were playing a team like Getafe).

If I were in charge of Real Madrid, I would establish a midfield with identity. By that I mean two or three creative midfielders that play most every match and stay together for a few seasonos. Look at Barca; When I think of them, I think Xavi and Iniesta, and behind them they have intelligent midfielders like Keita and Hleb who play in the same style. I never know what combination of Guti, Gago, Diarra, Sneijder is going to take the field. And those players are inconsistent.

It would also be nice to see Madrid develop a Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Cesc, etc, instead of trying to buy them.

If you keep treating players like replaceable parts, your team will never be stable.

madrid team is very unbalanced, most of his midfields are the same (sneijder, guti, vdv) doesnt have a refill for robben and RVN and the tittle hunger its looks over.

its pretty hard to try and establish a team like that, we had that last season for a bit with diarra, guti and sniejder but injurys and suspensions and form make it hard to field th same team every game.

i rekon our best midfild is sniejder, vdv and gago/diarra.

guti just slows down the game to be honest, when no one with pace is playing in the team his through passes are pointless as there is no one to run onto them. and he is too lazy and inconsistnt for me anyway.

we need a couple of players in janury defently, a defender or 2, atleast one winger and 1 striker, but january is the worst time to buy players but we have no choice.

we won tonight i cant really say much about the game as i didnt watch it.

anyon who watched the game care to say how we played!

I saw it the defense was much better with Pepe and Ramos in the middle, Marcelo sucked again, althought not as bad....Iker was shaky....Guti slowed down the game as you pointed out, our best player was Wesley Sneijder and then Schuster took him out I dont know why....Higuain missed a couple sitters and then he got injured....we controlled the ball, but were very monotonous in our approach, almost always thru the middle...Drenthe did provide a little better today but still highly innacurate...

did I meantioned Higuain is injured?!........yup that's been the story of our season, and we are still only 2 to 5 points away from Barca...depending on today

Thank you for your brilliant and valuable input. You should go work for Sevilla. With you in there, they would win all titles!

Even with all our problems, we are still defending champs and are still on top of you. Even hammered you in the supercopa. My advice is to worry about your club and not show up when other clubs are going through trouble. But yes, I know, misery loves company

You asked for my opinion and now you criticize me for giving it? What's your problem? You're going to get outside opinions on your team whether you like it or not. Your team is the constant center of attention in Spain, for better or for worse, so get used to it. Maybe even respond to any one of the several points I made instead of writing me off for being a fan of another team. Also notice that I gave suggestions for a more successful Real Madrid squad; I don't insult or laugh at your team as I so easily could.

Btw, you "hammered" VALENCIA in the supercopa 6-5. Or maybe you're thinking of last year when WE hammered YOU 6-3.

I at no point have insinuated that Sevilla are better than Madrid. In fact, I'm extremely upset with the way they're playing under Jimenez and the poor replacements we found for Alves and Keita. You are where you are because it's near impossible to finish outside of the top four when you have Madrid's payroll.

Seriously Orgullo, grow up. You are so freaking inmature.

Being in the constant attention, and getting **** poored on you when you do badly is a part of being a big club.

Your replies are just pointless and provocative, just begging for a fight. I'd like to see you try some of that in real life, without hiding behind a screen name...

Sevillista's post was one of the best I've seen in the forum for a while, definitely the best I've seen here. There were many good points, opinions, and ideas of solutions, and in no way it was insulting or offensive. Then you go using your witty sarcasm, trying to be funny, or to cause an argument, where you won't do any good, as you have no argumental skills, but still you'd think you won it, as you had no clue what others said to you and you'd just response to them by saying something about their mom. Very mature, and very acknoledged indeed.

It's people like you who make Madridistas look bad in some people's eyes.

were through to the last 16. thank god!!

onto the game i only saw the second half as my ******* satelite isnt working. but we petty much controlled the game we werent amazing had a few chances but overall we defended quite well, didnt really have too much going forward, but we did what we had to do to go through. 1-0 pretty much sums up the whole game.

raul, drenthe and sniejder were propably our best players on the pitch.
