First half over in Athens, we had 5 clear goal oportunities including the post twice...we should be up 1-0 or 2-0. We are playing well, for an away match, Olympiakos has done very little only one good shot from Raul Bravo....if the game continues as is, we shoudl win it...

Also, Raul has been the better one, along with marcelo, who has had some nice defensive work....Sneijder is lost again; he is just playing outside of his natural position and it is easy to tell, Raul has had to do his job so far, I expect to see him playing behind Raul in the second half.

van nistelrooy hit the cross bar with a great chip. robinho was 1 on 1 but was flagged ofside wrongly other wise that was a sure goal.

boring game so far. no team is really going out for the win, we havnt been troubled that much by olympiakos so far.

not a remarkable game by any strech the crowd was the best thing about it...I am happy with the point, but not really because we should have won, I think Olympiakos had like one shot and that's about it....we really should have won....well, no use crying now, the point works

boring game. we had no urgency untill the last 15 inutes.

our build up play is so slow we need to kick it up a notch. we should of won with the chances we had. but it was still a boring game.

0-0 We should have won easily by a large margin. Our defense was very solid, except for 2 mistakes from Cannavaro. But thats it. Ramos was as usual. Marcelo really really convinced me again. He is turning into the player we all want him to be! Midfield was doing its job defensively. Robinho did have some mazy runs again, but wasnt the one of 2 weeks back. Still he was dangrous and could have scored twice. Sneijder gave 2 magic balls for Ruud and Robinho and I think he wasnt lost at all, he looked good. Diarra-Gago worked well again. Diarra was a beast, except for his passing. I think he should limit his passes a bit. Gago was easily MoM for me. What a player to watch. A gem, no doubt about it. We dont need any other DM/CM. He is the one! Ruud was Das Phantom today. Not to be seen, until that chip wich he should have scored. Raul was classy again.

So it was a decent game. I enjoyed watching Gago play. That was really a joy to watch. 0-0 isnt bad. We are as good as through.

I agree with most of this. Gago has been looking really good. I wonder how much has to do with playing w/ diarra. The 2 just recently have been a pair in the midfield. What we missed a bit was the passing from the midfield. It wasn't horrid by any means but 3 or 4 very bad passes from gago and diarra come to mind. I think thi could have been gutis game. overall we looked ok with our possesion. Playing away against a determined team with their home crowd, all in all, it was a decent performance I thought.

i agree, gago was very good

i actually enjoyed the game, we created some good chances, but were unable to take advantage, i am happy to leave with a point

good game, should have won, but a draw away in champs league is enough. gago was superb, like fabregas almost. tackling, passing. i hate to say it but i thought raul was shocking. i no you guys wont like me saying it but tis my opinion. i would like to see his passing statistics, to me most of them went off the pitch or to the other team. other than the chip ruud was pretty non existant had a good few hances and tried overplaying it. Y? he is world class, why was he so scared to stick the ball in the net. ah well, other than that i am happy. marcelo is turning out to be real gem too

good news about Arjen Robben.

He is expected to make a comeback for the Murcia match, that is the match after the next one, of course there will be a league stoppage due to national team play again, but, the doctors say that if Madrid had to play a final this weekend and really needed him, that he would be able to play, of course that is not the case and we can wait for him..............again...

:S Arjen was a terrible buy! horrid buy. even if hes fit 50% of the time, how much better is he than a good player who is fit 100% of the time? Bad move. I gurantee he will get injured again before the season ends. Watch.

Few minutes to the game guys! Lets hope we can win this! Ramos and Guti are out of the game. Normally when Ramos is out I almost cry because then the clown Salgado would play, but that isnt an option today! I think Torres will play there! Guti will be replaced by Sneijder wich isnt bad too ;)
