Conceding 5 goals at home is worrying, but I think it will take a few matches for the new signings to gel. The Robben saga needs to end asap so then Schuster can concentrate on his best team.

I don't want robben to be the excuse. 1 man cannot fix this problem, okay...maybe maradona at his prime.

well its all the contrary , with this game , knowing ant helga things can only get more intense, expect a major signing from madrid, not meaning a great player , but big money beeing spend, 2 weeks from the transfer window from closing a lot of **** can happen.

I think Schuster will try to use him as an excuse! I just think that putting an end to all the speculation will help Schuster to concentrate on finding his best team, so that the team performs.
I personally think Real have bought far too many new players, what was wrong with the squad that won La Liga! Having too many new faces creates problems, it's a complete regeneration of the squad, and so takes a bit longer to produce results. But the new players are class, so give it a few games and Real will be flying.

Kind of agree with all the new players. Flying? That'll probably happen towards the end of the season if its gonna happen this season at all. Perhaps its better to look at this team and Scheester as a team for the future. This year is a rebuilding year. And this whole Raul mess? When the hell are people going to stop giving him chances. Vintage Raul used to take games by the scruff of the neck and now he's probably 60% of what he once was. That needs to be addresed and fast.

Apparently Scheester doesn't see need to worry according to press interviews throughout the pre season. Like I said b4, this will be a rebuilding year, it could only be arebuilding year. We have way too many new players, new staff, coach, tactics. Really, it needs time. Sevilla have had basically the same team for some time and same coach and are very familiar w/ each other and that makes all the difference.

still blaming the ref's after you get stomped is not the way to go....teams like Madrid dont take well to rebuilding and change, AT ALL! we all know that

Well, we better get used to the rebuilding phase. You don't just create a magnificent team overnight! I mean, face it, the board and members like fans as well know its a rebuilding year otherwise we would have kept Caps and the squad we had last year..after all we were so determined, hungry and gelling alot during the last part of the season. Revbuilding phase? Of course. Hence, R.Carlos, Helguera, Bckham gone, sh!tload of ne wplayers in and new staff. It's only fair we let our team get through the rough patches and not boo them since it would only hurrt us more. Come December it'll be an appropriate time to boo.

I agree....all I am saying is that historically Teams like Real Madrid dont react too well to deep change phases, last year is evidence of that, people didnt start believing until results started coming, the sad reality is that results is the only thing most people see....teams like Real where the board spend 60 mill a year to win championships the lack of results doesnt cut it you know that...I mean I am not going to stop supporting my team no doubt

But honestly I think the job of being the Real Madrid manager might be getting a little big for Schuster, you know that like players not all coaches are made for the big teams and the big games however good they might be....Capello, was a big team coach, not pretty but he knew how to win in the big teams, the jury is still out on Schuster in my book, and I believe we have the right players

the real problem is in our wings... when they fake torres... (almost everytime) there is a gap in defense.. therefore canna has to move out of position, and then Pepe has to move too...
------------casillas-----------
--ramos---pepe---canna--torres

we look like this:
thatz how PEPE and Cannavaro look like ****

------------casillas-----------
------ramos---pepe---canna--
-------------------------torres

didnt see any LM or RM in the second half...
guti in the middle.., robinho mid-upfront, snejider in the center
diarra in the center, ruud tryin to play upfront....
where were the wingers!!!

i saw this post and it made me a little bit curious, lemme tell you something, when this happens, the 5 or holding mid, specially if you play with two holding mids, has to cover that spot (holding mid, ramos, pepe, canna) either that or cut the pass to open wing, so if that happened one of your holding mids was playing waay out of position or cought with his pants down :)

WoW, crap game but in some wierd way i kind of trust schuster and i think whatever he is trieng to do will work out at the end, i cant beleive marca are saying "who will be next madrid coach" we dont have to look too far back were things didnt start well for a manager but because he was given time he won 2 leagues and a CL.

we did play horriblly 2day but theire were some good signs not many but there were like the in the opening 30 minutes of the second half we dominated the game, drenthe did well i though cannavaro was quite good, an robinho was good as well, people need to stop getting caried away i know its pretty bad result but we had plenty of these last season i.e huelva, lyon, byern, deportivo etc etc.

Why for f*ck sake did you buy Wesley Sneijder from us, it was our best player and now he's being benched?????????? Are Real Madrid idiots or what?! :|
Accidently we won with 8-1 in our first competitiongame without Sneijder but if he's not good enough for you we wouldn't mind if you would sent him back hahaha :P Huntelaar scored 4 times for us :bob:
Here's a tip: play more often with Wesley in midfield and you score more just a tip for that Schuster who never should've been your coach in the first place cause Madrid is no Getafe :o

most pointless bitching ever...

YELLOW CARD: Untrustworthy
I watched the game for a second time. We didn't play as bad as it originally sounds. One goal was caused by a defensive blunder in a dead ball situation, a second goal was from a silly penalty, and a third goal by pepe crashing with casillas. Remove those mistakes and this game would have ended 3-3r. Our defence can still use some work, but with some games, I feel they will get it right. Yes there was the goal were they left Kanoute alone. maybe another mistake that can be worked on and you have a 3-2...

Now It's on to Atletico.. HALA MADRID!!
