there you go guys the two goals....

Well it was a much much better game than our previous three. We didnt necesarily dazzle but we controlled the game, we didnt give that many chances as our previous game and we controlled the tempo, a fair result.

As predicted there were no rotations and it showed in the field as Guti and Sneijder started to find each other. The whole team just seemed in rithym...and i like it! hehe.

So, much better showing, I look forward to improving. As we mantain continuity I see us played better and better. Btw, that Higuain goal was pure class...very nice definition, last year he would have missed but he is learning much better this year...

missed the match again:f***: but iam glad we won.

very intresting quote from schuster.
"Our problem isn't in defence. I'll go out on a limb and say our back line is the best in Europe right now. What I am worried about is the everything in front of them, where we have a lot of work to do.”

I think he is right our problem isnt the defense it's the players infront of them bieng too lazy to track back and not working hard enough.

Nice finish by Higuain. If he improves his finishing he will be class all the way. As it stands I love his dedication and atitude. Great signing. Ruud, same ol same ol. He's a guarantee. Gutis passes were spot on. Looks like he had agood game and I hope he retains his vision and touches the rest of the way. We all know how inconsistant he can be. Sooner or later we will look like the side that thrashed Villareal. Perhaps cutting down on rotations a bit and punishing those who don't give a 110% will get us there again. Lets hope this blackout thing ends soon. as it stands my only chance to see us is Champions League. If they crash out of it, then am I gonna have to wait for next season? Or perhaps it'd be easier travelling abroad. Pathetic.

Arnau why do you come here and say or do negative things... I have made it a point to go to the Barca forum only if I got positive things to say if I got nothing good to say then I say nothing....no seas fastidioso please...

anywho....Now the dreaded international break, hopefully this break has the exact same oposite result of the previous one, that is, it returns the good football back to where it belongs; in the boots of Madridistas!

Little update on our youngsters that were sold/loaned.

After watching Javi Garcia play for Osasuna Sunday, I think it was a good choice to let him go. Why?! Because he is the player that is gonna prove our board wrong with their youngsters policy. The guy was phenomenal! He was just PHENOMENAL! I hope he can keep his great form this year and that we get him back next season! I cant imagine the enormous potential this kid has. Same goes for Granero who has had a great game against FC Twente in last weeks Uefa Cup tournament!

eh, Madrid needs to find a balance...maybe the days of La Quinta del Buitre cannot come back because of the day and age in which we find ourselves, football is so international is not even funny...I mean look at Barca their three cantera prodigies only one is considered a Spanish national, the other two are effectively foreigners (nevermind their "Spanish" citizenship) but there needs to be a greater inclusion of the cantera talent...Honestly, I dont believe our youngster get a fair shot at the big team because of the fact that Madridistas want results NOW, if we were just a little bit more patient then we could probably see the fruits of the cantera better.

However; this problem is not just a Madrid problem. Like Madrid (a winning team by tradition) teams that are used to winning do not tolerate too well the time that it takes for players to develop and come up from the youth system. For Real Madrid a season is not defined in second places, it is defined in titles only; Barca can say what they may, but they have been content with being second place while nursing young talent...I mean that is good on them but it is never good enough for Real Madrid....it might be harsh but that is reality.

Now.........let the obsenities fly from Cules all over the world....however I will say I did not try to offend them I was just pointing out differences in mentality

i can agree to certain extent , but i think barca want the titles as much as madrid.... plus i think you are forgeting the biggest and most relevant diference betwen us and its not the mentality , its money.... ill just give you a perfect example of what iam talking about.... how much money has madrid spent on new youngsters such as higuain, marcelo , gago , drenthe and how much money has barca spent in players such as messi, gio, iniesta, bojan... their relys the answer really, barca doesnt has the luxury to spend millions on new youths and trash out our own... the real harsh reality is that we need our tight bugget to bring every year new henry's and new yaya's and its not only that we love so much our cantera and bringing them to the first team, is that we really have no choice on the matter.... us beeing lucky of having a great cantera well thats another story. ;)
