i can agree to certain extent , but i think barca want the titles as much as madrid.... plus i think you are forgeting the biggest and most relevant diference betwen us and its not the mentality , its money.... ill just give you a perfect example of what iam talking about.... how much money has madrid spent on new youngsters such as higuain, marcelo , gago , drenthe and how much money has barca spent in players such as messi, gio, iniesta, bojan... their relys the answer really, barca doesnt has the luxury to spend millions on new youths and trash out our own... the real harsh reality is that we need our tight bugget to bring every year new henry's and new yaya's and its not only that we love so much our cantera and bringing them to the first team, is that we really have no choice on the matter.... us beeing lucky of having a great cantera well thats another story. ;)

thank you, I think you have clarified...I did not mean to say that Barca play for second play, but they are more willing to suffer a second place season or two for the sake of developing the youth, maybe because they know their tightness with money or whatever it might be, Madrid, because of its money and buying power cannot wait, ever...and it hurts our cantera

A great article about our Youth System!

http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=442675

I'm sure that if some of those get the chance that they will definatly become world class players.

If I remember right I think our youth has also produced the most players for other la liga teams ( although my memory is not so great ). While I do agree with you guys at the same time did you every think R. Bravo, Pavon, Borja, would be good enough for Real Madrid? I like Pavon because he never really complained and did his best whenever he was called on but he just did not have the skill to do it. I think we need to be able to move our players faster in the ranks. At 18 we should loan them out to stable mid-table la liga teams so they can get experience. Look at what Valencia has done with that method, now R. Albiol and David Silva are fantastic players thanks to what Valencia did for them. Look at what we did to Juardo, sent him off to our city rivals who don't know what the **** their doing. Every summer they dismantel their team and say we are going for the championship/CL but always fail because they have no direction. We can't send our youngsters there, not only that but the players do IMO do have enough talent ( Soldado who will leave in the winter transfer ) are brushed aside by the coach for whatever reason. Basically what I am saying is that we need a complete overhaul of the youth system and we need to give them not only more time but confidence aswell.

Damn I have not posted here in a while, but it's good to see that we are still leaders and our last match we played some good ****. I also like that Marcelo is starting to get time and prove Schuster wrong.

Indeed it would be, considering that Valencia won't sell players to us we would have to pay his buyout clause ( 125 million euros ) than give Villa a huge contract to agree with if he does do it.

It does get boring with no Madrid games on so we should expect more stupid rumors.

That's true and Luis has the nerve to say something like "How many World Cups and Euros have we won with Raul?"....well Luis what the **** have you done other turning Spain into a really ****ty team? This pretty much confirms that Raul won't get a call up any time soon, it's funny that Raul was getting called up when he was playing crappy but now that he is looking really good he does not get a call to the NT.

Anyone else read about Barca going to court over Merida requesting something like 3.2 million euros from the player/club...this is great, maybe this will finally stop the EPL teams from poaching the young players in Spain. From what I understand what happened was that when Merida was 15 yeard old he asked to be released from his contract at the time ( a young player contract ) and being as that he was not old enough to have a pro contract Barca had to let him go. If he had waited till he was 16 Arsenal would have had to pay development compensation to Barca. Than once he was 16 he signed the contract with Arsenal so now Barca are sueing for development compenstation from the player/club, basically it seems like the agent of Merida tried to pull a fast one and looks like he got cought. ******* loophole is causing too many problems and needs to be fixed.

marca is gay; but so is Luis....that dude, the nerve to ask, how many world cups and so on....Raul is not the team there are 11 players and they are all equally responsible, if that is his rational then none of the current Spain NT players except for a few should be playing cause they too have failed to win anything....Raul is living a great moment in his football, IMO his last stroke of genious before retirement, something typical of all great players, they always go out with a last Hurrah!...for the sake of who he has been to Spain historically, alone, he should be playing....arguably the best Spanish born player of all time....noticed I said arguably.....if you ask me Casillas will go down as the greatest ever, at least until the new generation comes up but there are many years for that that be consumated.

Hey guys. I just thought I'd ask how Royston Drenthe is doing for you guys. I heard he's starting regularly on the left, but I'd just like the fans point of view on his peformances since I haven't caught many Real Madrid games this season.

They are saying it's one of the best all time goals for Spain, the Ramos one. Anyone have a link of it?

yeah here: http://www.footytube.com/ first vid. got all the goals. Ramos' goal was awesome, excellent play down the rightside! the other two Spain goals weren't too bad either! check'em out! Ramos has to be the best players in the world. He keeps getting better as he gets older, at both CB and RB!

awesome team effort for that Ramos goal...I dont know about him being the best in the world, but as far as his position goes, RB he has to be amongs the short list for best RB's in the world..
