PS2 FIFA 2004 Wow

In the demos, the player movement in FIFA looks more natural than PES. PES seems very sudden and jagged movements as if the players have no momentum.

cim cim boom good point, but u only played a demo, and reading from most individuals who played the game(actual game), they said there's been a vast improvement , why dont u give the game a chance, if it fails to satisfy u , then u have all rights to seize from the product.

I will man ;) Because it has lower div leagues and a career mode which interests me alot. When I first played the demo, I liked it cause it is better than 2003, but when I played PES 3, I uninstalled fifa demo. But I will give it a try fifa 2004. After all I only play soccer games, nothing else. I would love to have couple of good soccer games.

You don't but turning and passing is kind of lame and does not fit in to the game. In fifa 2004, ohh man I just hate it when my player taking his time turning around and passing back, its just doesn't seem realistic at all.

I played the demo for 3 days and then unistalled it to wait for the console version.

I did heel pass twice. Well, like always... if you have a player behind you and you are walking...just press the stick in direction of the player that is behind you and use pass button at the same time.

And pray for a heel pass, because it doesnt happen always... just sometimes.

OK here is my two cents worth. I have FIFA 2004 on x-box, PES3 on the PS2. I bought PES3 because the gameplay in my opinion is FAR more realistic than any game FIFA have ever produced.

PES3 disappointed me in that the graphics do not seem to have moved on since the last game. However, the animation of the players movements is second to none and not unrealistic in the slightest. The stumbles etc are so life like. It is also a lot harder to score from long range in this game which is more life like.

FIFA2004 I bought mainly because they featured lower division teams and I wanted to play as my team. I thought FIFA 2002 was so bad that it was the last FIFA game I would ever buy. I bought FIFA 03 for the x-box out of boredom and for £20 I thought it was a good game which the more you played you enjoyed.

The new FIFA I'm still getting used to, but as already mentioned the levels are going from either winning every game 4-0 or losing 1-0. The shooting aspect is unrealistic on amateur level but maybe as you progress the difficulty the less goals you will score from 35 yrds.

I'm undecided on what the best game is, and anyway everyone has their own opinion but for me PES3 is the more realistic of the two without the shiny graphics etc

check some 'techcnique goals' in issextreme for example...players go inside the penalty box and turn their bodies to dribble, the have time to tap the ball in a different direction whe their whole foot, and changing body's direction as if they were changing from east to west...very poor...it is unreal, coz players can't simply 'phantom' between 2 defenders like that...as if the player was some kind of spectre or something...that's rubbish...

and even more...PES players are so light and so it is ball...nobody is like that in real life...u can't change directions and swing ur body as fast as u can do in PES...

Have you played PES3 in 5 star? Do you know what your talking about? In fifa all the teams play the same way and with same tactics. Thats what I saw in fifa 2004 demo. But PES3 got 4 teams and 4 of them play different way. Just watch a PES 3 CPU vs CPU in 5 star and then talk.

CIM BOM DOM or whaeva - listen buddy - the fact of the matter is that you're obviously a PES fanatic and know ur stuff when it comes to your game...

but when it comes down to FiFA 2004 you don't know what you're talking about and i would let you off if you didn't come here trying to slag it off - look you can't even play the game, you've obviously not played it enough to understand it and you didn't even give it a chance - you haven't even done a backheel in the game? i can do it every single time i want to - it all depends on your timing and if you played the game enough you'd know that it's not only possible but it's easy to pull off too...

now keepers, passing, shooting and etc sucks in fifa? you OBVIOUSLY just played a few games and condemned the game - IMO (as i've played both demos PES3 and FIFA2k4) i don't see a single thing in PES3 that is better than FIFA - yes previously FIFA was lacking in the realism compartment but in this version things were put right and the overall package in FIFA is better and to justify this - by package i mean the following:

Gameplay PES 9, FIFA 9
Graphics PES 8, FIFA 10
Sounds, Music, Commentary, etc PES 6 FIFA 9
Player Animations PES 9 FIFA 9
Game Interface PES 5 FIFA 9
Lasting Appeal (considering the carrer mode and online play) PES 7 FIFA 10

Say what you will but you can't convince anyone here that PES is a better game except ur fellow fanboy buddies...(that said PES is still a quality game but coming in here and claiming it's better?... go back to the PES forum bud)

Ok I understand what your saying there. I am not a PES fan boy. I want to see few soccer games that I can enjoy all year long. About the back heel pass, I tryed soo many times and couldn't. Ok your openion is yours but graphics in PES seemed better than fifa's. I even saw pimples in one of the spanish players. I havn't played the full fifa 2004 game so I might be wrong. I am only comparing between chopy fifa 2004 demo vs smooth realistic PES3 demo. I am hoping your right. I have played fifa 2004 demo for about a week.

Can you please tell me if you have the game, do you feel if your playing with Real Madrid? Does all teams play with same tactics?

Why can't it ever just be " I like the game" instead of " I like the game but PES/FIFA sucks" Grow up children.

Hi ive played both games and I think Fifa 2004 is MUCH better than PES3. I played PES3 and I thought it was OK. Then later I played Fifa 2003(with no updates or nething)and even its better than PES3!!.PES2 is a different story. It was much better than 03 but PES3 isnt. Then we come to Fifa04, ITS AMAZING!!!!!!!!
