Tinytim, tryin' to convince or even to discuss with PES fans that Fifa is not that bad is just as difficult as to learn a dog how to speakl
The majority of them is plain stubborn, and sufficient.
We as Fifa players are ignorant.
You won't change them and their main hobby is to come to this board every year when the game is released and trash it.
And then they disappear until the next game comes and so on.
And what really pisses me off is that the majority comes with the " Fifa sucks " kind of judgement !
Thanks God, PES3 will be released this year on PC. let's hope they will have enough work in updating and customising their game and leave us alone which I doubt

ya know, I never took any side, but this year, FIFA really impressed me.

I always played FIFA and moved to PES (WE) coz it really felt cooler playing...but I never let my eyes out of FIFA...

FIFA 2k3 showed a massive change in main aspects...so, I expected more, really loooot more from FIFA 2k4, specially, coz every footy sim gamer and FIFA fan (plus the naturally mockers PES fans) claimed for that...and I could feel it came, just from the pictures...that's so good, coz EA always meant to do a game that offered more than a joypad feeling controlling a player in the screen...they always offered a whole atmosphere...

there somethings in PES that simply don't feel real...but it don't turn it in a bound to trash can game...as well with FIFA, but...let's recognze...Pierre and Danny really made a river of sweat for this edition...congratulations...millions of thumbs up...

I loved PES 3 (We 7), I got mad when it was out (althought, I was eagering for FIFA either), but man...I'm starting to hate it, only beause of those nasty PES fans...I could easily love both, FIFA and PES, but well...these guys are really pissing me off...

just like the old rock x pop question...rockers generally find themselves more...'wisdomed'? (heehehe) than pop fans...u start to hate rock bands because of these guys...I could easily listen to Travis, U2, Roxette and also like rock bands that hit the charts lately...but, dunno...once somebody choses something to love, for a question of taste, this person finds himself 'iluminated' for that...go search ur face!!!

Yeah tinytim, I could not agree more with you.
I also have nothing against the game PES in particular. I just prefer Fifa .It suits better my gaming pleasure.
But all those PES fans who are alone to know the TRUTH
Little dictators they are !!

sounds as childish as the old, very ooooold Sega x Nintendo war.

I remember I had trully 'political party' discussions with Nintendo owners...the same happened with Sega x Nintendo, via press...always a little flame threw on another...

then, Sony came, stood between those two naughty and sassy kids and said: go to that room, I'll pick some cookies and tea, let's talk and solve it peacefully.

Sony locked the door, and the rest, u all know...

Now Sega makes games to Nintendo, and soon, Nintendo will no longer be a Hardware house either.

Like that booby guy who said that PES fans get classic beauty women...what will happen if Konami fail? he'll need Viagra boxes??

Man...that's stupid...in the past, in the Nintendo x Sega times, well, yea, u could fight for ur preferred console, coz well, it was kinda expensive buying it and so the cartridges. But now, everybody has everything, u can emulate, u can COPY GAMES, no matter what are their softwarehouses...why fight then? let us just enjoy...and pich its fave, but...without mocking who prefers the other one...

Please, compare PES with the REAL LIFE GAME and FIFA with the REAL LIFE GAME. Don't compare with each other.

I don't really think PES fans are up to learn how to dribble, how to run (what means, in FIFAS 2k4 a lot of 'timing' learnig - btw, just as in real life, coz in real life, u don't simply dribble a defender by turning ur whole body to the other direction when the defender comes wildly - outside penalty box - or stupidly - inside the penalty box - as it happens with PES dribble system.

this what I mean when I say that PES it is arcade-ish for me. The way u control the players to dribble it is so damn easy, as if u were playing Sega's Virtua Striker. while in FIFA, u have to consider player's 'weight'...I mean, u can feel it...

and...one more thing...how can the teams play exactly the same (yeah, maybe in the demo) if the players show very different caractheristics...try to make a fast run with Seedorf and with Schevchenko and then with Gattuso...man, the difference is noticeable!! but...the cool thing is...it is a smooth noticeable difference...as in real life, as if u were watching a game on TV. It's not like in PES, when u get a player like R. Carlos for example...if he reached his top speed...goodbye marking defender...that doesn't exist in the real life.

But comparing fifa with real life is total joke fifa is a joke. You know what? in about a month or 2 you all will realise how dumb fifa 2004's AI. Its going to bore you as it will play the same way as all the games.

I'm serious man...why do u give urself the work, I mean, how do u have the nerve of spending time just to come here and piss FIFA fans off? I'm not a FIFA defender, but...c'mon, that's so childish...

if u really wanna convince FIFA fans that PES u all should try, at least, a more polite approach...people don't like to see their tastes and preferences being desregarded...show'em how good, how sooooooooo much better PES is...the same educated way I ask u to analyse FIFA with a less pre-concepted mind...

my only dream about those games it is (besides having hours of fun) gettting a PS2, a PES (already patched), FIFA and crush my friend, a guy who's completely addicted in PES for PS1...he has a loooooooong list of matches won against me, and I want to beat him in both of them...

so, my advice for u and all footy-sim fans is...HAVE FUN!!!
