Maybe Real's is going to use the system of 1950's Uruguay, when all teams play with 4 forwards

Maybe something like...

-------------------Casillas--------------------
Salgado---------Samuel-----------R. Carlos
Figo-------------Beckham----------Zidane
Raul----Morientes----Ronaldo---- Owen

very good for 50's or 40's, when football was borning, but a real crap for this time, but knowing Real Mierdid, anything is possible

I'd have to disagree. What have those players done that is better than the strikers of Real?

All of Real strikers are close to being done, Chelsea's strikers are all in their prime except for Mutu who is not in top shape at the moment. When you look at Real strikers they have all achieved a lot in their carrers but they are old now and they are past their prime except for Morientes.

i'd have to disagree. none of the real strikers are remotely close to being done. it's just that they've all reached so much success at early ages, it seems like they're over 30+. but they're all in their prime years and should still have many years left.

if they're "old" now...so are the likes of shevchenko, henry, van nistelrooy, who are all around the same age.

thats impossible.. they could never outscore other teams when only 3 people actually do any defending at all

Camacho will rotate. That's what he's supposed to do i guess. On one game he plays Ronaldo/Raul, then Moro/Owen, then Owen/Raul, Moro/ Ronaldo, Ronaldo/Owen and Moro/Raul.

Haha :D

you have no clue what you are talking about.

Morientes is the oldest one out of the bunch, and he is 28. :|

Ronaldo and Raul are each 27. They are not close to being done. Atleast 3 or 4 more years in their prime.

And Owen is 24. enough said.

How can Real Madrid's strikers be close to being done?

They are not.

Raul - Champions league all time top scorer,

I thought that Di Stefano held that record with 49 goals and Raul has 47 goals (is that number right?), but i guess that di Stefano played in the Champions Cup so that gives the record to Raul? Ehh, im not sure.

This was not the best sign for Real Madrid... why they keep buying offensive players when they need another CB and one good DM? Well what Real is doing is what i call the "marketing policy" cause they only buy players to sell their shirts and their image...

well, the best guess is that camacho will use a nice rotation system, so, as it was already said in this forums, there won't be any tired strikers...

ronaldo and raúl as starters and moro and owen as finishers, so every game they have good chances of scoring from the very beggining to the very end. thats nice though.

since owen was cheap, theres nothing that can be said. he's a good signing (not as good as vieira, though), but owan can be useful to madrid.

what right now worries me is the helguera-beckham thing, since they are good but it is not what madrid needs... samuel, moro and owen is nice, though

How the hell are they going to form an understanding then..

Yeah, a rotation like that would prove to be very drastic, Grunger.

Anyway, did anyone see Owen being presented to the Spanish media? It was funny. "Buenos dias todos . . . okay?"
