Pre List of the World Cup : (only players from Mexico, 4 or 5 from this list will dropped before the final list on June 1)

Javier Hernández Delantero Chivas

That will help with the work permit situation.

Hi,

I am great Mexico fan, here is some info about Mexico football team

Mexico have scored 39 goals in their 13 appearances at the FIFA World Cup finals.

They have appeared at all the finals since 1990, when they were banned for fielding an over-age player in a prior youth tournament.

El Tri have twice progressed through to the quarter-final stages in 1970 and 1986 - as hosts on both occasions - while last time out in Germany, Mexico reached the last 16 before exiting at the hands of Argentina.

Mexico will be coached at South Africa 2010 by Javier Aguirre, who also led them to the 2002 tournament where they lost in the last 16 to their bitter rivals USA. Watch live soccer results for this FIFA World Cup 2010

I still cautious about hopping onto the NYRB train, now that the Cosmos are being dicussed.
well the Cosmos revival looks like a serious undertaking, with realistic long-term plans being laid for a return to the top tier of American soccer ... would be amazing to see them revived, and the sooner the better: because the greats who made the NASL star-studded are still alive, and well enough to be able to give a real connection to USA's soccer past ...

as for RBNY (not NYRB), good for them getting Henry ... he loves the city, he's a big star from the premiership, so he'll be a hit in the big apple ... but signing Rafa? here's what I said in the Barça thread:

Márquez will be Red bulls player in next hours.
DPs are supposed to be crowd-pullers, and Rafa is not going to make any difference in NYC ... Chivas USA should have made a play for him -- they'd have got mad support if he was their DP ...

but in the end Mexican teams end up winning the tourney, plus the one that really matters the famous Concachampions, lol....
