There are about 50 fans in Dallas tonight, I'm not making that up. They could've played this at that Dr. Pink Stadium next door and not sold it out.

What the hell is going on with that franchise?

The administration doesn't give a damn about the supporters, just the profits. The team makes most of it's money from the surrounding youth league fields and concerts, as such, the team itself is a low priority and some fans feel alienated. Plus it's about as far from Dallas as Salisbury is from Charlotte.

Yikes, that along with everything else you said sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Just bought a couple of $30 tickets for Mexico vs. Iceland at Bank of America Stadium this Wednesday. Me and my pops are gonna go enjoy some international soccer in downtown Charlotte, NC. I never thought I'd see the day.

I love how the Observer is covering Iceland but not Mexico. Awesome :D

Covering? They put up a four picture slideshow. That's not covering, that's garbage. I bet less than 5% of Charlotte knows there's an international soccer match downtown tomorrow night.

Why could you buy tickets today then?

Through ticketmaster no less. The Disturber finally put up an article online. It says that over 70,000 are expected. That's awesome, even though the majority will be Mexicans from the Charlotte area. I hope this means more soccer for Charlotte in the future.
