I'm working on my new update, v5. Already I can see individual players' that are more skilled and faster than the average. You can literally out-run players' unlike before. v4 tried this, but it wasn't enough. I am watching real-life matches, highlights, goals, even build-up play from the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona. I can see the way the ball moves and I am putting it into the game the best I can. So far the ball physics surpass anything I have created before and a lot I have seen available. The ball gravity is diverse, with new air resistance, which allows the ball to dip with speed and bend, or hang in the air for longer. This really shows in clearances and crosses, lobs. CPU shot accuracy and balancing with keepers is something that will be worked on very, very closely and hasn't really been touched as of yet.

I am making a list now and shall release it very soon with all the improvements made. There are quite a few!! v5 is looking to be a winner and beat all my past versions put together. This is only after a day of development, thanks to all the football videos I have downloaded.

I swear to you all you will see goals scored that you will recognise in real life, I know I just have!! the way the ball moves and the way the team pass the ball is already looking much more believable at a realistic pace.

Check out this goal scored against me by the CPU. It's a shame I didn't get all the skill and passes before the goal replay, I wasn't recording the game, but I had the sense to hit the window key, load up the recording software and hit record for some real-time commentary and action! Then put it into a little clip, stick on the logo and call it a teaser for things to come!! There are many more goals like this one scored, but it is skill that scores them, not poor defending. The through-pass was just too good and the player speeds are noticeably faster or slower from player to player. I have increased player skill and holy crap does the CPU take on your players'! Even the little 'stop' Zidane does before he creates the through-pass is magical! The players' have a sense of realism about them, almost as if they're thinking. I'm loving how there are more lose balls and you end up running against a CPU player battling out your strength to see who gets to the ball first!!! It's exciting.

Improvements so far;

o Passing Slower
o Ball bounce realistic and not such a smooth surface
o Ground gives a bumpy affect like in real life, the pitch isn’t perfect
o Better CPU skill and ball control for excellent players’
o Attributes stand out more, especially for player speeds
o Tackling is more realistic and players’ are capable of escaping challenges
o Realistic rebounds and speeds
o Improved through-passes for the ultimate tactical passing game
o Improved throw-ins
o Ball control is less perfect
o Ball gravity more realistic, with believable dip and bend
o Game pace slower and more tactical
o Realistic interceptions
o Goalkeeper reactions are less predictable and more human
o Harder to receive crosses and score from a cross
o Shooting accuracy is more difficult and diverse
o More injuries and winded players’ with higher risks
o Defenders play a tighter game, breaking defences is harder, less consistent, but more rewarding
o Lesser skilled players’ more likely to stumble with the ball
o CPU players’ can speed up and slow down the play, 1-2 passes with speed, yet stay on the ball longer and use individual skill, especially for star players’.

From the clip, the defense looked a little shaky. The center back ran to nowhere before stepping up to Zidane, leaving Robinho completely unmarked.

But assuming that it was a human error (holding the key the wrong way before changing players), it looked good in terms of ball movement and ball skipping. I wish I had the PC version so I could try this out when it's done.

Yeah I kinda messed up in defence, they through my off-gaurd cause one minute they were just playing football and having a knock'about and the next they just ran at me and did that!!

Actually NK, OckHAM is right, I mean you also got to chill down with all of these posts, no need for attention, you are already famous and if anyone has any idea or suggestion for you then they will search for your post wherever it is, people look up to you, so don't be a bad example on how to use forums.

I didn't realise, my apologies to you guys I didn't mean to come across as a spammer, that isn't my intentions at all. I do however have some news regarding v5;

Balls hit with a certain spin will dip and bend faster like in real life, whereas when the ball is hit lightly with height, it will glide for longer instead of coming down fast like a rock or floating like a balloon, think of a lofted pass by David Beckham. This makes the ball less predictable. It is much, much more realistic. When the ball hits the floor it will also react much more realistically with the ground, be this the ball roll and if it is raining, etc.

You also have to watch out for putting too much power on crosses and lobs, or you'll send them out of play much easier. There are more throw-ins now.

Haha, just messing. Yeah it will hopefully play better than any version I have created so far. So far it is much better. I've just had a 12 minute match, lost 1-0, had 5 shots with 0 on target. Real madrid had 1 shot all game and scored with Ronaldo!! I defended well, but his shot was just too good!! This is early development anyway so things will change.

The bastad kept breaking out of my tackles, my players' stumbled when trying to catch up to his quick pace. Great goal, he shot into the top corner and the keeper just missed it. I'm kicking myself for not saving the replay!!!

Both these goals were scored in V5, world class mode. I'm going to release a new document soon, which should be interesting for anyone interested in my latest update. Both these goals had me cheering! Very rewarding.

Could you maybe post the goals in video format? I'm thinking about getting FIFA06 for the PC, with the main reason being customization and patchwork, so I'd like to see what I may be getting if I buy the game for the PC.

Well I guess the unrealism here is in the EA SPORTS attributes, which for me are set to default. If EA have given Ronaldo excellent pace and speed ability, then my update will show this more. I will post some goals in video format for you, record a few matches then take out the highlights to show you guys what I'm doing

Cristiano Ronaldo in EA database has 94 acceleration and 93 pace. I don't think there is speeder players in database.

I'm not sure about C.Ronaldo being the speediest player in the game (although those are impressive) but we're talking about Fat Ronaldo.
