I dont get it, I think he's the 2nd best player on your team so it makes no sense. My fear is that there's something we dont know, unless he's about to catch a charge or has a serious injury its a head scratcher.

I read some article about it. I doubt very much the guy has any legal troubles. At best he has 'connections' to two killings in which he is neither a suspect, a person of interest or even had anything to do with them aside being associated with alleged killers. All proof they had were instagram pics with the dudes, which doesn't really mean much other that he has questionable company at times...

I think that was excuse enough to get rid of him due to being immature and possibly a locker room cancer on top of a fat contract, but who knows. We shall see how Chip Kelly fares this year. I think he got lucky last year due to not having any major injuries and Foles showing up to be a legit QB... and they still didn't amount to a whole lot all things considered.

Pat Chung back to NE. Doubt he'll get through camp. He loves a penalty our Pat.

Guessing we'll draft a center, defensive tackle and a couple of tight ends. More excited than I have been in a few years.

i don't care what he is about to do, you sign him because he is an asset and
the type of player that can completely change a game with 1 touch of the football.

yea he owns a record label, he is hood, he hangs with thugs and misses practices but he is vital to the success of the offense.

we just needed to keep him happy.

the eagles need to worry about what he does on the field and not what he does off of the field.

The reason was explained. I am sure that you know it.

Regardless of whether the team reacted appropriately or not, he should never have put himself in that position to begin with.

Also, I think that disciplinary issues crept in. Last season he did not play due to missed practice(s)....plural, if I remember correctly. No matter who you are, you don't do that. You don't put yourself in the position he was in. You don't give the team an excuse.

it's a philly thing, iverson missed practices and won league mvps and scoring titles.

in the nfl at the ages of players to have someone considered a cancer is about the dumbest thing i have ever heard, a grown man should be capable
thinking for himself and not let the thoughts and actions of another effect them.

which is part of why he was cut as kelly considered him a locker room cancer.

The price was right, we basically gave him a 2 year contract and after that we can cut him with very little cap penalty.

I cant wait til he takes the field because the opposing defense can no longer box Garcon and thats a beautiful thing if your a Redskin fan.

From what I'm hearing he was released because he didn't buy into Kelly's coaching philosophy and Kelly felt Carlos*son had more pull in the locker room than he did and he didn't want a split locker room, if thats the case I dont blame Kelly. I'm just hoping for a good no drama season, we haven't had a WR with 4.3 speed in over 20 years.

The draft couldn't get here fast enough...my enthusiasm for the start of baseball season has gradually gone back into autopilot until the fall classic. The World Serious is always fun to watch.

I read the Raiders, Rams might be coming back to LA. The never ending story about Los Angeles finally getting a football team.

Raiders won't go back. Be surprised to see the Rams. Wouldn't rule out the Bills pending new ownership.

I am anti London franchise. It's a terrible idea . Busting my balls to go to 3 games over there this year and they're probably putting on 4 next year. They're expanding too quickly and not taking travelling fans into account with their planning.

It'd be really unfair on teams in the London team's division too. Their travel would be a nightmare compared to the rest of the league.

I just don't see how it could logistically work without significant scheduling changes to accommodate them, which like Bobby said, wouldn't be fair to the rest of the teams, especially their division rivals.

From what I've heard, they go 4 home, 4 away, 4 home, 4 away.

I don't like it. So many negatives. The tax issues would be horrendous too.

Have a few games in London is one thing. The home team spends a week there and the away team fly in on the Friday. It's a great novelty. That will wane though and I doubt many people in Europe will change teams just because they're based in London. I'm not going to give up supporting the Pats. It's ludicrous.

I guess this is what happens when you consistently sell out an 80,000 seater stadium and buy a ton of merch. I'm hoping the NFL are just pandering to the know nothing UK fans.

It is not a Philly thing. And in the NBA, there are way bigger problems than missed practices. Given the racial breakdown on the NBA, you would NEVEr consider telling Allen Iverson that he was going to be released for his connections. Because, if you did, superstars such as Paul Pierce and Carmelo Anthony would need to go as well. And that is probably just scratching the surface.

In the NFL, it is totally different.

A lot of people point to Russell Wilson when you question Manziel's size in the NFL. Wilson's great, don't get me wrong, but Cleveland doesn't have Seattle's defense.

I think there's a reason why height is considered important for an NFL QB and while there will be exceptions that succeed in spite of their height, most will probably struggle with the limitation.
