I posted that because Rossi scored, and in my opinion, proved Roeder wrong about not starting him in previous games where he might have made a difference. He is a natural finisher and who knows if Rossi starts, he keeps scoring, and Newcastle go on a glorious run and saves Roeder from the sack.
Yeah i know what you meant, know the feeling, was just kidding ;)

The problem is with Rossi is that he isn't ours. If he was I'm pretty sure he be playing every other game.

Rossi hit the crossbar/post in the first half. He doesn't look confident. Could have scored after the brilliant one-two had it not been for Diawara. Oh yeah, Charlton are really, really woeful.

We've no strikeforce, if you don't score goals you wont win games.

I hope Roeder keeps his job becuase sacking him wont achieve anything. We've just got to get to january and try and bring a striker in.

Roeder eyes up Polish striker Nov 25 2006

Newcastle United have been watching Polish international striker Radoslaw Matusiak as Glenn Roeder continues to search for potential solutions to the club's striker shortage.

Matusiak is the hottest prospect in Polish football and the 24-year-old, who has scored twice in four internationals, has attracted interest from clubs in several of Europe's major leagues.

The tall forward, top goalscorer in the Polish league, has been watched several times playing for his club GKS Belchatów by a United scout and sources in Poland claim the player is expected to leave for a major European side in the New Year.

Whether this is Newcastle remains to be seen and the fact the Magpies have had their fingers burnt with untried foreign players in the past may mean Roeder is unwilling to take a risk on Matusiak.

I don't know of him, what's he like Tosiek?

Fantastic performance today against Pompey. Dyer and Zog were fantastic and if we hadn't of caught James in good form we could have scored 4 or 5.

I've said all along we shouldn't sack Roeder and it is beginning to look like the Roeder faithful were indeed right to keep faith in him. Now all we need is a goal scorer in January and we will begin climbing the table.

Radosław Matusiak ( Polish striker who's currently playing for BOT Bełchatow) and is on first place best strikers in Polish league. He's is really promising player and if he come to Newcastle you can have lots of satisfaction that he play for your team. He has shown he's not afraid of play one-by-one. He's fast, play smart on the pitch, does not him difference with what he shoots.

Now some information from Wikipedia:

Matusiak was part of the Polish U-16 team which placed second at Euro U-16 Cup in 1999. In 2006 he got his first senior international cap. So far he has played 4 matches and scored 2 goals. He got his first goal on September 6, 2006 in a Euro 2006 qualifier against Serbia. On November 15 he scored the only goal in the Belgium-Poland game in Brussels, keeping alive his country's hopes of qualifying.

Big win yesterday, still down at the foot of the table, but there's a little bit of distance there. Started to worry that the goal would never come, but luckily in the end it did, as the bald hero did his thing once again!

Obafemi Martins was the bomb today. first a brilliant goal out of nowhere, then an assist a minute later, just great to watch.

We were a bit lucky in the sense Spurs had a lot of the ball... But we totally got screwed over in the first half the players in white and the referees.

Yes Spurs deserved to go ahead, but not like they did, how the linesman wasn't able to do hie job properly when he was standing in the perfect spot is just annoying. Then you have Berbatov acting like a petty w*nker basically kicking Given everytime he could, then Chimbonda slapping Butt at the break... I think karma kicked in for us in the second half. Anyway it was a great game.

Great footage of MARTINS' goal vs Spurs: Youtube Link !!!
