New Kits 2007/2008

Interista13

Starting XI
Simo, yeah I get that, but teams sometimes change the shades around, they do't use the SAME exact shade EVERY year...Inter's colors are a bit darker than previous years...Milan uses a tiny darker shade of red, Barca's colors are different compared to their 05-06 kit, etc...

As for that supposed gold on the Milan kit, it looks to me that there's also a Spain home shirt behind the German one in that pic I posted, then the Milan one behind it.

'Bavarian Lions' - that looks hilarious on the front

I like the home kit, to have some dark blue or black on it is great

I guess they will have to use a 3rd kit also, maybe this year's away kit, the full dark-blue one

I doubt they'd use the full dark-blue one, not enough colour distinction in all three kits otherwise. I guess they'd introduce a third kit though.

Seems to be a German thing, make your home kit colours your away kit for the following season...... (H)

Sao Paulo 3rd kit 2008
This is an examlpe of how simple can be great

(A great little details is how the lines go over the lines in the badge!)
This is the 3rd kit of Sao Paulo (a team not used to have 3 kits, only 2 repetitive home and away kits every year) According to the article its suppoused to be for Special events and Friendly matches. Hopefully it will be used a lot more!

Another pic of the "new" Liverpool kit...

Check out that Chelski kit to the right, reminds me of the 95-97 kit with that collar.

I saw there some Real Madrid and AC MILAN kit ...if we could see them ...

That new São Paulo third shirt kinda reminds me of the Welsh third shirt from a few seasons back, black with the red and white vertical stripe, a real quality shirt!!

Anyway, for the lesser informed, the away shirt is actually based upon the Bavarian flag, hence its design...

Still looks daft, though its by no means the first time I've seen diamonds on a football shirt... I recall Sheffield United once had a kit in 1996 that was red and white diamonds than the traditional stripes - not surprisingly it was universally derided by their fans. :junior:

If that's what Kappa produce then I'll be glad come August, because the FAW's deal with Kappa comes to an end and hopefully we won't be wearing their rubbish skintight kits no longer.

"Best Buy" - heh that's more stupid than the bavarian lions

Best Buy is their sponsor sort to say.

Not so sure about bavarian Lions might be because they like to consider their team the Lions, and that is dumb if they put that on the jersey.

The lapel collar on that 'pool shirt is a horrible design. It will be one of those collars that flap around all over the place. I would have thought Adidas would have looked at a visually better collar than that.

Its funny 'cos that Chelsea shirt in the pic above has the same style collar and it stinks. I hope that Chelsea shirt is not the real deal because I don't like it at all.
