Personally I think it's a pretty disrespectful thing to do. Not only do these people never get to see Man U, but they paid a lot of money when they did get to see them. This is not the Man U they paid for. This is yet another reason to hate them.

i wonder why Manchester United didnt let Giggs, Brown and the Neville brothers play in the match. They used Keane to play the central defender role and didnt eveb use Brown :crazyboy:

ps. do u think that Alan Smith will wear #14 in the coming season? Howard #1 then :rolleyes:

Giggs is injured so would not have been risked while Butt is still likely to be sold so risking him in an inconsequential match that may scupper any deal is stupid. Wes would probably have featured but given our defensive crisis last season, Rio's continuing ban, the drop in form of both Silvestre and O Shea, the loss of Heinze to the Olympics and Wes' interminable bad luck which has so far seen him badly injured in two preseasons, I applaud his resting.

The booing at the end of the game was pathetic. :kader:

I disagree. I mean it was bad enough that the only star Man U put in was Roy Keane, and he was buried in the back the entire game. But on top of that, nobody (save maybe Alan Smith) seemed to be putting the slightest effort into the attack. It was just so sluggish. Celtic and Chelsea put on an entertaining match in 95 degree heat for God's sake. The booing was deserved in my mind.

yup i saw it at the game, the announcer announced him as djemba djemba but with no eric, like his first and last name are both djemba now:confused:

so you're telling me that because it was a friendly both teams decided that they would just draw the game and decide it on penilties? gimme a break. first munich should have stomped all over manu reserves if they were half way decent. but from the way they played they looked like they were scared of the manu kiddies. afraid to pass the ball even. ballack had to keep going to his back line to collect the ball off them cuz they would not pass it too far forward.
