Manchester United vs. AC Milan [P+R]

It's true though, United are probably the most in form team in Europe at the moment.
Our record since the 2-0 loss to Portsmouth last October:
Played: 27
Won: 20
Drawn: 5
Lost: 2*
Goal difference: 51-14
*The only two losses in that period was to Fenerbahce, where we played our kids in the final match of the Champion's League group stage and to Chelsea in the Worthless Cup semi finals.
So going by those statistics United should be favorites, but the ball is round.

the last Italian team Manchester United played was AC Milan in Giants stadium in NY, USA. the game ended in a 1-1 draw. while AC Milan feilded a team of starters, ManU's team was made up of mostly of our youngsters from our reserve team.
i think we had Smith, Scholes and Giggs starting, while milan had Sheva, Pirlo, Nesta and Kaka starting (these are the only guys i remember). true it was only a friendly, but still, i would have expected milan to demolish united with such a strong starting line up. i suppose i should also factor in the fact that it was Milans first pre-season match where as it was ManU's third.
