me and my brother made some comparisons between players for the two first teams:

GK: Dida vs Carroll -> Dida

DL: Maldini vs Heinze -> attacking wise Heinze, defending Maldini
DR: Cafu vs Neville -> Cafu
DC: Nesta vs Ferdinand -> draw
DC: O'Shea vs Stam -> I'll say O'Shea

DM: Gattuso vs Keane -> pretty even, but with recent performances, Keane
ML: Seedorf vs Giggs -> Giggs
MR/MC: Ronaldo vs Pirlo -> incomparable
AM: Kaka vs Scholes -> Kaka

FC: Shevchenko vs Rooney -> Sheva
SC: Ruud vs Crespo -> Ruud

a very even match it will be

O'shea vs stam a draw, what crack has manifested in your blood, as O'shea is nothing defensively to Stam. O'Shea is more of a MC/DL, not a DC. Sylvestre w/o any injury probs should start in DC, otherwise it's Wes Brown. Either way defensively I think Milan is by far the better team.

Attacking wise its a bit of a parity, because Milan's central attack (Sheva, Crespo, Kaka) are as dangerous as you can get, but United's wing play, and the central striker they choose to deploy will be troubling for Milan.

This will mos definately be a tough match for both teams. A classic hopefully, not a 0-0 snorefest.

Also the fact that United's players are multifunctional, as they have the ability to switch positions during the match to trouble markers, albeit Ronaldo/Giggs, Smith/Rooney/Saha.
