Real seem to be after Ronaldo again according to some claims, dunno whether they are misquote though, and they are also trying to snatch away both ljajic and tosic. tosic wasn't happy with the deal united was offering him. Real is such a pain in the ass, they always say they're not gonna try again on Ronaldo, but they always come back again everytime. Have never seen a team so much obsessed on a player, as if their lives depend on him.
I dont like how you guys put it on our club, right now is nothing more than a rumor, not a word has come out of any club officials, believe me, we got bigger issues to worry about, I would not like to see a rekindle of last summer, that stuff drags and sucks for everybody involved....anyway, i hope its nothing but hot air....

The deal has all but been done already. Ferguson asked for one more season from CR and RM, simply because last summers soap opera was a messy business, and one more season at United would give the fans time to accept his imminant departure.
I can't believe there is a Man U fan out there who still thinks Ronaldo is a loyal red. Man U means nothing to him. That's the sort of person he is.

You may be right, the only thing I don't like is the way is has come out, and to be more specific, WHEN it has come out. Right now it does nothing for Real or ManU, other than it will cause the news media to create once again what they did over the summer. and we all now how much of a soap opera that was

You are 12 or so points behind Barça and just replaced the coach, this is obviously an attempt from Calderon and his staff to give some hope back to Real Madrid fans.
Mostly, his thinking about maintaining his position than in Real Madrid the club itself, because of the negative impact this whole soap opera again has on the players, like you said.
The media sh!t on us all at one time or another. It's annoying to say the least, but until something is done about these parasites, they will continue to attempt to de-stablise any club that they can. I hate them all with a vengance, and digest not a word that they write.

Actually the newspaper that published this 'story' is very much a pro-Fiorentino paper. Elections are next year and Fiorentino figures to run again, and they can somehow make Calderon look even more foolish, by saying that CR is a done deal when it actually is not, then not even winning the double will save Calderon come the elections....at least that is a theory being floated in Spain

So in the summer its another story, his departure is inevitable sooner or later no matter what. The football league will have a 'home grown' rule next season, where at least 4 players in the squad have to be English (or registered domestically for 3 years). Doesn't apply to the PL unfortunately. But at least it gives some young players a chance to break through. I wish it was a higher limit if anything, not because I'm against foreign players, but because I want to see the national team succeed. Anyone else glad to see this?
