aye, was thinking the same about Rooney. Not that Tevez looked much better, he got sent off :D I guess the good news is they can only get better this season.

Tevez getting sent off is good for us - at least he'll miss some internationals.

Wayne needs to be playing behind in the hole, like he did during his first and second season at Old Trafford. He lost all that edge when he was asked to play wide or up front which he is not. We will see the best of him when he plays behind Berbatov and... when he loses some weight.

That's good, but where would you play Tevez? He simply cannot be dropped in the form he's in at the moment. But to play all three then you'd have to sacrifice a midfielder - and when Ronaldo returns that will be even harder.

God I'm glad I'm not the one who has to sort that out :innocent_smile_1:

I have NO idea how it's gonna work but I'm sure that Sir Alex has a plan since he decided to spend 30mils.

Just amazing - two weeks ago we were struggling up front, now we have possibly the best strike force in the league + Manucho is nearing fitness too, he'll be useful for the coming season.

Wouldn't it be sweet if Berba makes his debut and scores the winner at Anfield!

that would be good :D The berb is coming. In regards to rooney and tevez I can see them being rotated a lot, and play together when we got the lead resting berb etc. Good rotation will be what wins us the treble enabling us to have a fit squad too the end of the season.

The only problem with that is I'm a bit concerned about keeping Tevez happy because he's still not fully signed yet. I have a nasty feeling MSI will somehow raise the price again. Unless the deal just needs to be signed.

Maybe Wayne would benefit from a rest though - he does seem a bit off colour recently.

Hey! The international break's over !!!
We've got Liverpool tomorrow, where are all the posters???
Anyway, I've sort of got a bad feeling about this game.
Not because they're looking good or anything but I think the law of averages might apply here. Since they haven't beaten us in ages and we keep beating them at Anfield.

Hard to stomach the defeat, but thoroughly deserved. We were second to those 50/50s and our passing wasn't at our usual standard. On another day, we might have scraped through. van der Sar was at fault for the first goal undoubtedly, the luck had to go for once. Second goal was just as disappointing, Giggs should have knocked it out instead of trying to shield it out. We got what we deserved, and I hope Evans is given a chance next week.

Help?

Yup I agree. Even though the 2 goals were just very poorly conceeded, Liverpool deserved to win. They won every single ball in the air. Vidic was stupid to get a red card for the Chelsea game though.

If the red card is not overturned, seeing as he wasn't the last man. But he deserved a yellow each for his other fouls not given.

We need to find our feet again, we know that we are capable of doing that, making a come back again like last season is going to be very difficult as our biggest rivals are looking to perform well on a constant base
