YAY! It's over - United finally pulled the plug on the two faced slimy little git... I told you, NO player is bigger than the club.

Now perhaps we can focus on the players who actually are committed to the cause, and hopefully some additions.

F*ck off Ronaldo,
F*ck off Ronaldo,
We've got 80 Million quid,
F*ck off to Madrid,
F*ck off Ronaldo!!

And that's the end of that chapter.

He's still at the club, so I won't comment until the deal is done. Then I can type out my reactions.

Good as done,

Rooney should be given number 7 - He's gonna be immense now Ronaldo's gone.

Rooney will take his place as United's driving force, he was sacrificing himself to accomodate Ronaldo in anycase.

80M Pounds for ronaldo!!!

SAF and David Gill You ledgends!!
Pitty he lied about it on camera but have to say it was time for him to go no soar grapes but great deal for us.

Players who could come in
Auergo
Benezma
Valencia
Silva
Young
Mountino
Glen johnson
Steven Gerrard?? :)
Huntelaar
Ribery

God this is fun i prob left out loads of great players haha

Great to have the deal done so early so now we have all summer to get who we want
God we could buy one whole team with this money (H) Including a striker who could score more than the 23 he scored this season. I'm sure he'll do well there. Spain is ideal for players like him. He's been a great player at United and scored goals but I don't think he'll be remembered like the greats who wore the number 7 shirt in the past.

I hope that we don't sign players who turn out to be flops like we did after Beckham was sold. One good striker and winger would be great. Getting Glen Johnson would be even better. BTW I don't think SAF will spend the whole 80 millions buying players. I guess some of the money will go into the debt as well, so that's a good thing for us.

They better buy Ribéry (and I can go and change my sig yet again) :(

Be ready to spend all of that 80 million pounds on him than, they already rejected 60 million euros from Chelsea and Ribery has said that he does not want a move to England since it's a similar climate to Germany.

Ribery definetly would choose Spain and Barça before anything, but not in hell for those tons of money...

Ya last i heard you were interested in wigan's valencia, he looks like a quality player, pace strength and technique at the tender age of 23

Fergi sold Beckham and Ruud and we just became stronger (lots of other examples, yorke, cole, ...). I hope Tevez Stays and they bring one wing and one World Class defensive midfield or a forward.

I'm just wondering is there any cash limit in Madrid and in the current economy?

Selling Ronaldo for 80m sounds like very good business to me.
I'm interested to see who we get as a replacement. Along with our annual funds and the fee from the Campbell deal, we'll probably have about 100m to spend.

It was inevitable, important part of Utd he is but irreplaceable definitely not, it will take time but eventually the void that he leaves will be filled and the team will move on to be just as good i believe.

I just wonder where on earth Madrid get all their money from to do such crazy blockbuster deals
