oh ya, they have already stirred the pot. So, they can say that just so they can look like a club that hasn't caused any problems.

Really, what problems have we caused? I would love to see your replay on this.

LMAO at how serious Sir Alex is taking this, afterall I thought Ronaldo plays at the bestest club like everz!!!!111 It's also funny to see how many people fall for the news that Marca is reporting, lol:D Just so you guys know, Marca are not trustable at all. They have been on an anti-Calderon attack for a while now. In reality every time he (Calderon) has been asked about Ronaldo he has been very nice to your club just basically saying that Ronaldo is a great player on a great team and if the chance came to sing him then we would indeed be interested but that Man Utd don't want to sell and that is where the situation stand at the moment. I don't see why everyone is getting so pissed at the situation for. **** if we really wanted to, we could have flown him here behind your backs to try and woo him to join us:D

Strange comment. We haven't done anything to Utd. It's our policy that we only take players who express interest in us. Ronaldo is the one creating uncertainty, not us. The problem is between you and Ronaldo, not Madrid. Fergie is really going on a rant for no reason...and Queiroz is looking very ignorant with his comparisons. Even brought Portugal and Spain into the whole drama! WTF? It's obvious his gripe is more with Spain and I could break it down but thats another story. The threat of a bigger club "taking away" players is always present in football and it's obvious that Utd. are threatened.

In the end Ronaldo will decide (IMO, he's going nowhere...yet). He has been quoted that it was always his dream to play at Real and that everyone has a right to dream. We didn't say that, he did. Deal with him and forget about us.

ok things to clarify.....
-We are not "desperate" For Ronaldo, the fact is there are about 5 World Class midfielders/Wingers that are within our reach, if we wanted somebody that bad we would have gotten someone.

-We are the 2nd Youngest team in Europe and the youngest in Spain, only Arsenal is younger, but unlike Arsenal we are winning titles, therefore, we like what we are doing, our chemistry is amazing and Schuster IMO demonstrated last year that he is a good tactician with room for improvement and amazing man-management skills, we have the posibility of opening yet another golden era in our glorious history, specially with all the problems Barca is having; so again, we dont "NEED" C. Ronaldo.

-The kid (Ronaldo) is an amazing player, IMO just a tad above Messi who in my vew is still the greatest game changer on the field at this moment...But anyway, who wouldnt want to sign him? specially if he threw himself at you? which he kind of is. As many have pointed out This is nothing more than a play for bigger money out of Utd. And the real issue is between C. Ronaldo and you guys, not us

-The President of Marca is a Madrid socio, therefore he voted against Calderon (our current president) in the last elections. He doesnt like Calderon and has tried to slander him in the past. Therefore, since Calderon's reign has been so successful so far (2 Ligas and a Basket Championship) He is trying to find anything to get Calderon in trouble and publishing all these de-stabilizing stories is part of the strategy.

-By en-large we (Madridistas) dont really want Ronaldo, we just want a true Right winger who is young, fairly skilled and a hard worker, and we want a new Striker...If we get Ronaldo, ok cool, if we dont then ok cool...so stop fretting United fans, it will be alright at the end of the day

Well, Calderon has come out and said that they have to accept that he won't be at Real next season, since United don't want to sell and they(Real) consider ManU to be a friendly club and don't want to damage that relationship.

That might just do it...

as I said if you ask my grandmother if she would want Ronaldo in her team she would be just as efusive as Schuster was, is not a question of do we want to sign him...everybody does....but He is the one who has been giving life to these rumors, your problem is with him not us

Granted, Ronaldo has to come out and say who he wants to play for, whether it be Real or United. But, we can't help but feel that Real are trying to unsettle Ronaldo. With the aggrssive attempts to get Ronaldo, it kinda feels like deja vu. ala Beckham.

My "Replay"

If this doesn't sound like causing problems, then I don't know what is.

LOL, so now when the media asks about Ronaldo we should just not say anything? I did not know that answering a question was against any FIFA rules. Furthurmore I would just guess that there is a hint of fabrication from the media, just a hint. Really, right now there is nothing wrong with what we are doing. If Ronaldo just said no I am not interested than all this would end like that but if he keeps giving signals that he wants to move then of course we are going to be intersted if the chance comes up to sign him. I really don't see how this is much different than the Hargarevs case? I mean ****, at least Schuster has not talked to him face to face yet like Ferguson did but no one was complianing about that when you guys did it right?

A lot of this is just Marca BS, like I said for the most part Calderon/Pedja have been very good whenever they give an answer on the topic of Ronaldo. When Marca reports something about what is said in a closed door meeting you know its just fake, **** they had an article not to long ago saying that the club had an Audi ready for C. Ronaldo:rofl:I mean come on, do you really think any of this **** is true?

What I find funny is how Calderon is sayin "Oh, we're not doing anything wrong, We're all friends here and we are just having a friendly talk with a player and his agent"
Mate, As I say before Ronaldo is guilty for keeping this circus alive. But Real have been trying to tap up Ronaldo for years and the answer has always been NO. The fact of the matter is that this circus is getting annoying and Real should get the picture. Ronaldo is not for sale. Full stop. Now, is United guilty of tapping up players, yes but you don't see anyone from United going "oh, Gattuso is gonna have fun in our midfield next year, while still under contract to Milan" And as for Hargreaves, he was nearing the end of his contract at Bayern when United made the deal to bring him to Old Trafford. Not one year into a five-year contract.

haha ah so many things to talk about here. Ok first of all there is there proof or evidence of tapping up a player? And like it or not, there is quite a lot of teams that do this and well nothing really happens about it. Milan had a talk with Robinho and his agent, as did Milan...before they spoke with us. You guys did the same exact thing with Hargreaves and sorry buddy but it does not matter what year the player is in their contract, it's the same exact thing. I really don't see the big difference between that and what is happening now, and for some reason now you guys are getting all pissed about nothing. He also was being hunted by Man Utd long before he actually made the transfer, how many times did Bayern say no he was not for sale? Did that really stop you guys though, hell no. You should really stop reading the english translations of what Marca or any other Spanish media is reporting as the truth, every single 100% of it.

This topic got boring pages ago. He's not going anywhere, story over. Please don't continue to talk about this mute subject.

In other new looks like Manucho will be with us soon pre season. Looking forward to seeing him.

One thing that worries me, he got a bunch of goals at last club, ok not the same talent base, but he scored a bunch for country pre africa nations, scored a bunch in African nations, got voted in the XI before people like Eto so you would thing this guy maybe special.

But... hes scored 1 goal in 8 games for Panathinaikos? I thought he got more? Anyway by no means bad, he should be interesting to watch. Looking forward to it.

Owned!

Anyway, yea, he isn't going anywhere yet. I am sure he will come to us eventually though. In every walk of life, people are always looking for something better and bigger and football is no exception. Like I said before, Man Utd. need to work with Ronaldo and stop wasting time with us.

Me too, but I still think we'll go for another striker this summer as well. Hull are eyeing Fraizer Campbell for a permanent move, I don't know if Fergie really will stand in his way - if Campbell wants to play every week that is. Louis Saha will be leaving this summer too, so really we may need two new strikers.

Can't wait to see who we buy though - then roll on the friendlies!

Latest on marca, his god-grandfather wants him to join Real and he be happy to go there, christ this kind of sickening rumours need to be stopped.

On a more important note, its time to give Evra and Tevez a new improved contract.

Ronaldo should stay at Manchester. No other comments.

Err, no it doesn't. Milan and Inter wouldn't get off our backs about Beckham for years and when we decided we finally don't need him we sold him to Real. So unless you are implying that Real will be around for like 10 years trying to get Ronaldo and will get him when he just doesn't cut it at United anymore, then i disagree.

We'll get one thing clear. We don't need Ronaldo. We have a super young talented team that is just cementing its base. The 2 straight league titles is just the beginning. IMO, Calderon wants Ronaldo...not only because he's the best player in the world now but he is also very marketable and being that football is a business just like any other (some people still don't think of football as a business which really boggles the mind...) he'd be a good move (in some peoples opinions).

I hope we don't get him. He's too much money and not what we need. In the end, Ronaldo will know what's best for him. It's no secret that his dream is to play for us but for the moment, he should honor his contract with you guys.
