He's done pretty well in the SPL - I don't know how that'd equate to success in the Premier League though - but I trust the Wizard's judgment.

He kept giving the ball away and couldnt hold up the ball. Yet again our defenders were the heroes. All our attackers had an off day until Rooney came. He made the difference. Oh yea and carrick...what happened to this boy... the last 2 games he has been piss poor. Looks like a player short on confidence. We need a much improved performance against newcastle!
I agree with you with Saha, he was pretty poor. Far too selfish most of the time. But have to disagree with you on Carrick, ok his passing wasn't as incredible as always, but he played a perfect role in front of the back four - his covering, finding space and providing other players with options was as top notch as always.mnj2x;2464254 said:what a frustrating performance by Saha. The way Carrick plays is so subtle that he never really gets the credit he deserves and yesterday he had another one of those unsung hero games and made life so much easier for the defence.

SAF needs to give more chances to him and Carrick. They will be replacing Scholes after all.
