That headbutt looked anything but friendly to me. Neither player had a laught about it and Ronaldo had a fully serious face like he was about to fight Wayne.

He stood up for his team-mate, scored a penalty and got emotional over some random game like the 1/4 final of the world cup! Bring back the death penalty

You are such a typical "Foreign" Man U fan. Not all English Man U supporters think the way you do. Some of your fellow fans actually care about the National team of England too. Some dont but most do.

So you come into the Man U thread posting your endless anti- English bulls.h.i.t. Or your paranoid attempts to ingratiate yourself here trying to prove to everyone that you are Man U's greatest and most passionate fan, even if you aint English.

You go on about Manu's players being made scapegoats for Englands exit. You are wrong. Thats just paranoid crap. Man u players are not being singled out in England. Rooney has the support of the entire country, not counting a couple of old fart ex- football guys and alchoholic hacks who nobody is interested in anyway.

Sure Ronaldo is getting some stick but its not because he is a Man U player, its because he is a slimy sneaky classless piece of unsporting s.h.i.t. Rooney has said that, before the game, Ronaldo told him " I will get you sent off". The first opportunity Ronaldo gets, he is in the refs face making things worse for Wayne. Then the wink.

Now you are attempting to excuse Waynes and Ronaldo's behaviour because you are a Man U fan and they are Man U players. Now its purely down to the ref, because of course the ref is not associated with Man U in any way.

Lampard has been critisized (rightly so), but Chelsea fans aint saying its an anti-Chelsea thing. Gerrard has had his critics but thats not because he plays for Liverpool. Gaz and Rio have been praised, so thats your theory down the crapper right there. I'd love to hear your opinions on Ronaldo if he was a Chelsea or a Liverpool player. Then, you would be as dismayed as much as we are by Ronaldo. You wouldn't be defending him at all.

Thats what amazes me about you Non-English Man U "fans", you know nothing about England or our culture or indeed our football (apart from Man U), but you read the papers and you think that tells you all you need to know about everything.

All the guys in this thread are loyal fans of Man U. I'm not saying you are not a loyal fan, but the overboard ass kissing makes you appear that you are trying too hard mate.

Agree with everything in your post, but mind you, i am a non-english man utd fan and i still think that Ronaldo is a piece of ****. He was one of my favourite players at the start of the WC, but as the tournament went on and things about him appeared, i changed my mind completely.

Hate ronaldo all you want, but keep it in the England thread.

Would you appreciate England fans going to the Chelsea thread and started saying "Lampard cost England the WC, if only he scored his penalty or scored from 1/20 attempts or scored that clear chance he had unmarked or he was a deadweight that dented Gerrard's ability to play his game or ...."?

Even if you do, we don't.

Please use the England thread.

BTW, I am not saying Ronaldo's right...

RockShow: the ref was standing right beside rooney when he stomped, that is why he was sent of and rooney has no one else to blame but himself.

PaPaGeorGeo: I dont see how you can blame Ronaldo for Rooneys sending off, Rooney was the one that pused him, his teammate has just beeded stamped in the balls ofcourse hes going to be upset. Ronaldo did nothing wrong as much as i dont like him he hasnt done anything wrong, fans are just looking for a reason why they should'nt blame there wonder boy, he is the one that first stamped on is opponent then lashed out

mnj2x: If u wanna blame anyone for the red card...blame either roooney or ref.

oussimoes: yes it was rooney's fault so he must look at him self now and the english people including rooney doesnt know is the one to blame so theyt thought we must blame our best player ronaldo

WHAT?! take a look at the incident again...it was purely accidental...where do u want rooney to put he's foot then?! that was a foul, YES...but did it warrant a card?! NO, a yellow, MAYBE...take another look at the clip again...the referree called for a foul n was gonna give portugal a freekick, but out of nowhere, pansy boy comes rushin in n starts whining...rooney shovin ron might deserve a warnin...or, fine, a yellow, but a straight red is too much...

god...cant believe there are people here defendin ronaldo n blamin rooney......

I'm not english and not a fan of England NT, but I think that what Ronaldo did was very dissapointing :nape: There should be some friendship between club team mates even though you are playing for different NTs even though NT and club are two different matters. What dissapointed me is Ronaldo's attitude :nape:

I feel ashamed of my username :(

glad to see pede54 back, anyways on this matter can't we all just get over it and leave it behind? what's done is done. things happen, people do things in the heat of the moment besides when rooney got sent off england played with even more team spirit and refs **** up too. the wc refeering has been **** as. because of that stupid argentinian ref, he is ****ed up the relationship between roo and ron and btw the real madrid guy who was a friend with ronaldo and was going to take him there, didn't get elected.

hahaha! yeah, i read that the other candidate won, if thats the case, then ron's stuck in manu...also read that ron was quoted he doesnt need to apologize to rooney for anything...well, if thats the case, then good luck to him then, cause hes gonna really badly need it...start sayin ur prayers...hope he rots in the bench...

CR's gonna get snapped... unfortunately we don't have any backup wingers...
It'll be Beckham '98 all over again, only worse because even our supporters have a reason for hating him (for wanting to leave).

Unfortunately this also means we'll probably sell ronaldo on the cheap (its probably well known that he and rooney/RVN don't get on now and we are desperate to get rid of him to ease the fighting)...

Great.....

BTW, congrats to C. Ronaldo for probably becoming the first player to be hated by everyone in England, including Man Utd supporters.

Even Beckham only managed to be hated by every other team..

Can't wait to see what our next #7 can achieve.....

i wont be surprised if united look totally different in midfield next season.
wonder where scholes , giggs will play.
more than that,i still wonder why fergie ever bought evra and vidic at overpaid prices

shrekiejai

Reserve Team
Evra will probably start playing as left mid (when giggs isn't). Vidic will probably warm the bench (until yet another injury crisis hit our club).

Scholes will come back to the centre of midfield, and probably smith when he comes back.

On our right, we'll have Fletcher.

Sweet!

very sweet indeed :jap:

so a great talent like richardson will end up in a relegation threatened club, get relegated and be finished with his career.
rossi may never make it really to the frst team as a regular.

Would you like Beckham back?

About Real Madrid elections, they guy that promised C.Ronaldo signing, lost badly, and everybody hate him here. So if you wanna take ride of C.Ronaldo think about selling him to Italy or Valencia :P

You made a lot of good points and I admit I got over-emotional yesterday, I didn't mean to offend anyone as I wasn't thinking clear (I think), but one thing though...I actually am English, well half English anyway (on mothers side), lived there for a while and still visiting Salford almost every year. Also you say that I believe the papers too much and then you quote one of the most unreliable paper and believe the "I will get you sent off" crap...

About the Riquelme "snub", I can't find anything bad about it, I rather have Hargreaves to be honest.
